The Age She Was - Part 2: The Story Continues
New Wind Productions is proudly a safe space and welcomes queer stories of all kinds. The Age She Was is a documentary style series that will be released in several parts. It follows the story of a young lesbian, Alexa, who is currently having a realization that she is the age her abuser was when she was pursued (29).
On June 6th, 2023 marks 12 years since Alexa was pushed out of the closet. In honor of the anniversary of her coming out and pride month, she is sharing her story with the world. In this docu-series, she brings us into the reality that was her high school experience. The goal of sharing her story is to educate others about student-teacher relationships but more specifically the fact that women are predators too. Unfortunately, Alexa's story is just one of many out there and she hopes it will reach the right people. If you are struggling and find yourself in the same situation, you are not alone.

Oh Sue! Hi. 🖐 I'm so sorry I totally missed this entire mini series (I've just watched it all now.) Life took some huge twists and turns for me out here in Oz, not all good but not all bad, and it's just taken me a while to reconnect with things I was supporting or following on RUclips (I don't have any other social media at all).
It feels like ages since I last engaged with you. Hope you've been well.
This story is heartbreaking.
Hey, suggestion: Please pass on to Alexa that getting away - far away - for a time helps and that she would always be welcome here in Australia where there are far more accepting, Pride Positive and healing opportunities for her. I would be more than happy to offer you some recommendations etc to pass on. I also have a lot of American friends out here.
Just a thought.
There are plenty of places and job opportunities for someone like her to find herself again and be free to be herself and heal out here. Most importantly, she will be safe!
