Just in time for my Kompressa to finish building, I had theorycrafted exactly this build and the math showed it should be pretty good, glad to see that it is in practice (as expected).
I haven't tested it yet, but the tysis seems like a good fit. Each projectile has 4 instances of status effects. There's the initial IPS, but the corrosive damage you see is split into 3 separate instances of damage after the shot like a bleed or toxin proc. It has 50% base status chance, so it can dispense an insane amount of statuses with status chance and multishot
I just want you to know I'm claiming at least 20% credit for sparking the Kompressa Empowered idea for this video. =P Joking aside, excellent job on taking the strategy and evolving it further than I could. Keep it up!
I'm pretty sure DE nerfed the Overwhelming Attrition interaction and it no longer works with Cascadia Empowered. Saw it on the patch notes for a hotfix.
I think the Cascadia Empowered Arcane still benefits from Overwhelming Attrition but it can not proc it, but I haven't tested it yet, that's just how I thought on how they worded it in the patch notes
I love videos like this, where you showcase more wacky builds as I dismissed this Arcane at first for seeming quite weak. With a very specific set up, I guess I was wrong!
This video inspired me to farm out ventkids standing just to be able to get the kompressa. I love builds utilizing 'bad' or very niche ideas. I especially love trying to make the bad flat damage mods good, and I think this wins for sure 👏
ya know first look at the arcane I was kinda like meh not really worth swapping merciless and other stuff but it’s amazing to see (meta) dps on low dmg weapons/weapons that are hard to build for anything but stat stick 100% worth being in the game if it gives us another look at all these weapons :D super glad to see this
have you tried using the Saryn augment for corrosive procs, or a Panzer for viral? Since the arcane triggers on status applied, and not specific status procs, you could mod for one and offload the other. There could be a lot of other weapons that could take advantage of the arcane that way
The end of the video was for minmaxing. What was showcased is a weapon that acts as an armor/viral primer wich can kill things properly as a standalone (using new arcanes).
Guns i considered you havent mentioned: twin kohmak, tysis, brakk, spectra, sonicor, epitaph, hystrix, ballistica. Of those the kohmak and hystrix seem most promising, and id love to hear your thoughts on it. Any of the pellet shoty secondaries might be usable but they have all been given the shotgun status treatment
yeah I'm currently testing with Twin Kohmak and it seems quite good. 5 multishot at max spool, riven dispo is good, damage is good. You don't have innate elements (viral or corrosive), but high status chance and multishot, it can still proc plenty of time cascadia.
Tysis definitely is not good for this arcane. It has the 50% status chance and up to 3 hits per enemy but it has no AoE and is actively punished for modding on punch through (removes the extra 2 hits per enemy), so it can NEVER work as anything but single target, and its fire rate is 2.50. Not gonna get anything done with that. Twin Kohmak are real good with it thanks to that massive status chance. Spectra Vandal is pretty decent too so long as your primary or secondary can provide the viral. Xoris is good for that. Kuva Brakk is alright. It has so much Multishot that you're gonna get loads of procs even despite the low base status chance. Kinda questionable to use it that way though when it has such a good crit chance at base 29%. Epitaph is a meme I'm dying to use with empowered. Empowered makes Hystrix way better, but that's not a high bar to begin with lets be real here.
If Cascadia Empowered could scale off of bane mods, elemental mods etc, would that make it a better option than the base damage weapon arcanes? Kinda wished it did when I first saw it in the first AoZ Update notes, but I now see how busted it would be.
Been using kompressa alot since I got a god riven, on frames like harrow it demolishes everyone's fps and makes people quit. I renamed it kompressa prime and now I constantly get asked how I got a primed kompressa 😂
hey so it seems like the kompressa is bugged, and all of the 43 status effects per shot just is not happening. the bug seems to be that while all of the extra initial shots are generated, they don't all explode. (it just stays at the default amount) with this bug in play the weapon is about equivalent with a normal raw damage build but is very limited to single target. good math and everything, hopefully the bug can get fixed if it's knowledge is spread around.
While a minor sidepoint overall, can I ask why you're building for Range on Zephyr? More range on her Turbulence to avoid running in to the back of projectiles, or additional pull range on Airburst? Afaik, Range on the Tornados only affects the spawn range you can cast them to, not the pull radius which is fixed at 10m.
I don’t even want to say it but theres a very forgotten secondary that can benefit to an absurd degree from this. Twin Kohmak has base 69% status chance and on my fully built one the final value is just under 240%, meaning each projectile procs twice (there’s a chance for a third) and the weapon has innate multi shot that ramps up. I’ve been running flare on it but once I get empowered up to top I’m going to test trading out heat for carnis stinger and see how much slash they can really pump out.
How would a kuva nukor perfrom with lets say base corrosive in tandem with the new arcane? Status is high and the fire rate can also be improved with lethal torrent?
1x tauforged emerald gives 98% corrosive strip, with heat thats 99%... So radiation+viral+corrosive+heat on this weapon means you retain the bonus damage against armor (75%) instead of full stripping, combined with the flat damage of the arcane... I dont think anything short of level cap needs more than 99% armor strip, so im thinking of using this as my pocket "fuck you" gun to kill tanky enemies, while my primary/melee can be for room clearing. Melee is a prisma ohma using the magnetic vaccum arcane build to suck everything in. My kuva grattler uses the same rad/corrosive/heat ideology but im patiently waiting for them to buff archweapons as its not really usable without energized munutions unless i gimp the fire rate which is not fun for a minigun that shoots rockets... But i cant decide on a primary weapon :/ Thoughts? I was thinking about maybe some kind of utility like the ferox, and i dont want to change my melee to zenistar because i main volt so i like my ohma build. Maybe my primary should be a big nuke 1 shot weapon or something? I hope you can give me your opinion on a primary weapon that can fit the role of utility/1shot nuke. I also have a subsume slot available to synergize with said primary weapon, along with a panzer to proc viral on aoe if needed. Thanks in advance!
I should also mention my volt is running arcane guardian and adaptation, so he is plenty tanky, and his stats are 300 dura, 100 range, 300 strength. Im open to the idea of capacitance instead of armor/hp, and im also open to the idea of shock trooper.

Does cascadia empowered boost damage on status by 750 only or does it increase the proc damage as well? For example, a 250 slash proc should deal (250+750) on hit and proc (250+750) over time?
@@Aznvasions gotcha, thanks man. I made a cascadia empowered focused twin Kohmak and it absolutely shreds in steel path but I also want to try a slash only Kohmak with primer for endurance runs. I think I'll try the 300% cc shield arcane on Kohmak and arcane precision on my warframe.
Wish you had a section on the best riven roll stats. Pretty sure it's not -status chance on my riven lol. I guessing it would be +Electric +Toxin +Status and - something like zoom, but that would probably take away from the 60/60 status's a bit but you would have 1 free mod slot. haha still thinking this through.
hey I've been trying out elemental ward on Xaku for the insane damage and I wanted to know if it possibly could work on zephyr's tornados? I mean unless it doesnt count like redirected damage...?
I believe it's not reflected dmg also since it's now patched but the tornados do make alt fire from weapons use the primary fire stats instead of the alt fire stats
i was gonna ask about what if you did a viral slash impact projenitor cycron/nukor for lvlcap scaling with this but then i remembered the 750 damage procs just deal damage they dont make their own status procs so you have no reason to use slash unless you really hate kubrows or something
Can you make a setup for hystrix? For a remainder its a secondary that forces procs 1 of the 4 primary elements at a time. With this arcane it could work wonders but im not sure since I dont play much warframe anymore and only watch your content.

Disapate didn't look super great until people tried it out, and now this arcane, which I initially saw as bad cuz 750 damage is nothing, not realizing it would go crazy with status hoses. Also, would a heat phantasma work well with this since it just dumps out heat procs?

In your list of candidates for cascadia empowered why did you even bother talking about primary weapons? It's a secondary weapon arcane and as far as I know doesn't affect primary weapons at all.
Happened to be a byproduct of when it used to affect entire loadout. This video was started before the patch but was shelved because of other priorities. I finally undusted it to complete the video to make this upload, but forgot to remove that section. It's the same reason why some parts of the Laetum video flow sound awkward, because that one I actually removed the parts concerning Synth Charge and what to use after it's patched, because the patched dropped while I was still working on the Laetum video.

Well your first thought was mostly right. It's a trash arcane for all but a few select weapons. Hardly would call that "worth"

Love this KOMPRESA build, even with just Rank 2 Cascadia Empowered, it clears out level190 mobs easily.

Some Range works for Turbulence, but beyond a certain point it becomes redundant, but yea it was just for the airburst suck.

It only inflicts the damage on status. It doesn't do anything to the DoT itself. So it would be 250+750 on the first hit, and still 250 over time.

it’s a secondary arcane so no phantasma and tysis is dirty with it
