Canadia is a good card for those needing help deciding backrow. Also everyone prob has 3 Poseidon Wave's from going in new box for Spider Sharks and they are okay free negate attacks that do bonus damage for each aqua, fish, sea serpent mon on your side to help F2P players. This deck will get nutty once we get more boss shark monsters
Basically the only replacement. Both cards essentially do the same thing only difference really is a lance is better for something like karma cut or flood gate where a cosmic is better for a fiendish chain etc.
Both is good in different ways. For example like in Dkayed match, you can set Cosmic, and negate that Circle. Cosmic also can deal with other cards like Necrovalley, Evil Eye Selene, which is flexible. The weakness is when dealing with multiple backrows, it is a gamble on which one to banish. Lance is a better protection, but cannot deal with spell / traps that don't involve your monsters.
If they add cat shark this deck will become less reliant on the skill. The diva infantry summon into a cat shark would be really strong and not use the skill

I figured out the Graydle for a while now and that’s kind of how I started playing my Shark, yk some Graydle but I don’t have some cards so I just added some other generic good xyz monsters it’s alright but not rlly
I had this fun one before xyz though, hammer shark, ice mirror with deep sea (if another sea can destroy an opponents spell or trap) and atleantean. Was pretty fun getting those solid 3 and I played the level reduction card the UR (the one where u pay 500 LP per level) ran, maku Umi, the card that to get rid of umi and pop the field, suijin, and the breaker the one where it’s 1 Tribute for 1-2 spell trap card destruction it was pretty fun
Also i made with hopes of adding it to an xyz deck lol when it came out was excited for Zexal world to see it strive now is such a call out and blessing 💙

You would still get banish by circle even with the infantry cause the way the chain works. Infantry would activate then circle would, so circle resloves then gets destroyed. Happened to me in a game while i was watching this stream

Yeah I'm trying to figure out exactly what to use for him. The deck and extra deck are both filled with targeting destruction and a few other ways of getting around bosses but Cocytus is a whole other problem.
We’re at the point where if I see my opponent using a 5Ds character I sigh and role my eyes because it’s a 90% chance I’m facing trapanui. You ever think Konami will balance level aug and dup? or will people forever be able to bring out their boss monster at no cost.

@@xuxooo What kind of logic is that? Of course they’re being used as intended, that doesn’t mean they aren’t strong. The problem is that they have no actual cost. At any point in the game you can “reveal” a monster in hand and get out a boss monster that otherwise would have required much more setup and resources to get. The “once per duel” is hardly a cost and more of a way to make it not game breaking. You know what a proper cost would be? Here are a few I can think of, any one of these would be fine. -Banish the monster revealed face down -Only the monster summoned with the augmented material can attack this turn -Special summoned monsters from the extra deck have their effects negated for this turn -Generic LP level cost to use -Generic turn minimum to use Those are just what I can think of with no real time invested to thought. None of these changes would kill the skill but balance them instead.
First Nerf: "You can only activate this skill if You have 5 Water monsters whit diferent names on your deck" Second Nerf: "7 Water monsters whit diferent names on your deck" Third Nerf: "You can't activate this skill"
If it can't deal with Shiranui what's the point anymore? They've released I think 7-8 boxes between Shiranui's unnecessary support and now and nothing stands up against them without heavy staple, expensive backrow cards. If it's not Shiranui, Blackwing, or Karakuri there's no point in investing in it. Generic OP backrow cards don't count. The meta has been the exact same for over a year now and Konami refuses to do anything about it. Sure there are new additions but nothing has actually changed. Are you seeing Wind-Ups or Sharks or Geargia or Magnets or Evil Eyes or Lunalights hitting KoG constantly and consistently? No? There's a good reason for that. All this generic backrow just makes the top decks stronger, it's not helping anything else. They need to limit generic backrow cards. Shiranui doesn't need 3 copies of Fiendish Chain and Floodgate to win and anyone who thinks it does it just bad and doesn't want to actually try and want easy, braindead wins. Shiranui and Blackwings and Karakuri might be tolerable if I didn't have to worry about the very first monster I summon being hit with a Floodgate or Fiendish Chain. Yes. The extra is all destruction effects but some s/t will ruin your day before you get to them.
Lance could combo off with graydle impact, so your monster wont be destroyed if you target your own monster with lance

While Shark Stickers can be used. It is not the most optimal, since you can’t use it as a Synchro Material.
