I didn't know you had bunnies! Its nice to see that they're becoming a more and more popular pet; I'm a bunmum to two, and I do feel like they're so underrated. Its a shame they're not pets in the new expac, but I won't look a gift-horse in the mouth. I'm just glad they're included. No doubt modders will find a way to make them into pets.

Mom of two here and yep my kids take all my time so if anyone tells you it's easy probably has nanny.Your honest opinion about the packs is the best opinion, I believe just because you get the packs for free doesn't mean the developers are asking you or any other game changers to sugar coat (constructive criticism) the reviews on it. Also do you think the game packs should be better (to me they are getting better but the community excepts perfection which to me is unrealistic) i.e. have more detail in everything since they most likely take a year or more the complete? I know they go through more channels(investors,budget and EA) then cc creators and there is no middleman. Also the new expansion I don't know what to expect until I get my hands on the expansion (but it is what it is) I don't know Ms. Crumplebottom on a farm.... yikes I've played The Sims 2 and she doesn't seem like farming type. : /
Personally I didnt really have an issue with GPs before. Of course I preferred ones that came with a new world like JA. I persoanlly think this latest one is the weakest offering, maybe it would have been better as a smaller stuff pack like they did with the photographer carrer in the moschino SP or fleshed out with more creative careers as an EP

Harrie, I'm glad you are honest with your opinion. I bought the newest pack and agree it should be a stuff pack. The game play is just okay and I still use most of your CC which I can't seem to do without. Guess I'm heading over to Patreon to support and get this build.
You’re so right about the stuff from the Dream Home Decorator pack. It doesn’t feel finished. It doesn’t go with my build styles at all because it’s so stark and simple. Your packs are so detailed, even when they’re simple. They work with a million different decor styles.

I went to school to learn 3D, we used Maya and I still don't know half the tools. It has so much to offer and is fun to learn though!

The ONLY “issue” I have with your content is that it looks so freaking good and expensive. I can’t give them to my more frugal sims because where they getting that money from?! We need some flat pack modular furniture from you, that looks like IKEA or Wilko or something. Something that my sims can transition with. Pretty please and thank youuuu. (I do have a few from other cc creators but they’re too gorgeous too!)

P.S. I’m so hyped for your involvement in the new EP, but re: your reaction to the latest GP, i honestly have the same opinion towards the new EP. like don’t get me wrong, clearly lots of people wanted it, but i wasn’t one of them, not to mention the style isn’t something I’m looking for in my game. So i get that all packs appeal differently (overall quality aside, the dream decorator GP is glitched to the moon). Honestly, snowy escape style-wise was something i got so many hours out of in terms of both building and gameplay because it represented aspects of Asian culture i never would otherwise get to simulate, as an Asian, so snowy escape is probably in my top 3 EP bc of that. It feels weird to me that the cottage living trailer doesn’t hype me up that much, if that makes u feel better about not digging the latest GP. Still so hyped for you tho!

The Tiny Twavellers crocodile in the baby bedroom!! 🤩🤩 I need to find a local toyshop where I can get that one lol 🤣. I think the only critique about the new dream home pack, for me, is all the unnecessary added items in the build and buy catalogue. Some of the items, especially most of the shelving units and bunks beds with added items, would have been better with the same buy function as the kitchen counters.
Yeah I do think they have really bloated the BB catalogue. And add in the shelving like they did the sectionals would have made a lot more sense

I think if your tired of speed builds, you can just build the house then tour it maybe (if that's what you meant by fly throughs). You just go in tab mode and we tour the house like that
did anyone else have trouble with the doors/ windows leaving an open space at the top of the wall when you place them? how can i fix this??

I think the reason I feel like TS4 did such a good job on toddlers and the reason I Enjoy playing with them is because I raised 5 children. Now the babies are another thing. They cry too Damn Much! I'm always like, "Make It Stop!"

Nothing to do with using cc, you just spent a lot on high priced furniture, so your rent went up

You have to tick enable CC in build mode
Yes you need to make sure custom content is checked in the filter options otherwise its hidden from the catalogue

Don't feel too bad about not knowing all of Maya's features. Maya is too extensive of an app! Most people who've used it professionally for years will confess to not knowing everything about that program. Just focus on the tools that are useful for what you make and you should be ok.👍
