Pretty Awesome! Love the seamless design too. They make a roll of putty that replaces the bead where the toilet meets the tile. Loved the install video! I’ll have to check them out!
Thanks I am going to check that putty out. That sounds like a great follow up video idea too.
Thx for the install video. Much needed, and much appreciated, and great job, dude!
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
good install. i need to go got that ratchet
Thanks! That ratchet is pretty nice. I should make a video about it too.
Where did you buy that ratchet ? What’s the official name of the tool? I can’t find it anywhere
It's the "Stanley Hand Tools 89-961 001PC 14DR ROTATOR RATCHET." I have an Amazon affiliate link for it. I earn a small commission if you buy from this link. So that's pretty cool. amzn.to/49ogVV7
Could you have attached the water line to the toilet before setting the toilet in place?
That would have been better. My issue was that the toilet was heavy and the hose was short. Plus the area where I installed the toilet was pretty tight to work in. I am not that experienced at installing a toilet. I just wanted to show people that even if they are not that experienced that they could install a toilet too. But I like the idea of installing the water line first. Next time I install a toilet I will see if I can figure out how to do that. If it works out I will make a video about it.
Everything else helped and I know I hate hooking up water lines of any kind, just thought it may be easier, Thanks@@ThatHobby
Is this an elongated toilet seat?
Yes it is an elongated toilet seat. It's a pretty nice toilet seat. It's acutely a little bit bigger than our our seat on our old toilet.
Which model is this?
I just updated the video description. When I originally posted this video this model was out of stock. That's why I have the other model in the description too. This is the DeerValley DV-1F52102 Ace One Piece Toilet.
put down a towel.. hate to chip it.. on the front there.
That's a good idea! Better to be safe than sorry.
@@ThatHobby to be honest as a frequent weekend warrior, I use to ignore all those things because it was my own Stuff. But after spending time and energy installing things and ending it with Paint drips, chips or scratches.. It really adds that last little bit of an armature did it. It is like doing tile in your bathroom and leave the tub uncovered and the door on the hinges and you end up with Thinset on the door and tub.. and wonder why you didn't take 2 seconds to cover them before you started.
Received my first Deer Valley one piece - parts were packaged in the bowl - side cap missing - after install discovered it had gone down into the flush channel…flooded my bathroom…support never answers phone…cheap junk…
Oh man what an ordeal. I don't have a lot of experience installing toilets but next time I make a video about one I will talk about this issue and remind people to inspect the toilet drain pipe. I think a simple plastic snake would work. Just something to push in there and make sure the pipe is clear or debris.
Lol because you didn't properly inspect and install it that makes it cheap junk huh? Get real
@@TheJustinlm24 lol good one Mrs. Clueless…post your own “crap” about crappers…otherwise gfys…
