Pumla I like that u can hear out weather good or bad but sometimes we don’t want to be so vulnerable when telling the story to u, so it’s not exactly dishonesty but it’s being worried to over expose everything
As a man, Bump Love is like a cheat code into the operation of a woman’s mind and this has been further personified in this conflict resolution espisode. My marriage is richer because of this show! Well done ladies.
I love it when ALL FIVE OF YOU are there. It makes me feel like my big sisters have all arrived and I'm sitting in a corner watching them spew wisdom. ❤❤❤
Ladies thanks for walking the journey and handing us the notes. One of these days we shall kwekalasa and sponsor a show as bump lovers. Yes....a show sponsored by the viewers❤.
Pumla wabula okola reseearch.. i love how you take Bump love as an Exam… you’re always there with facts.. “ I a book, i went met a counsellor” You’re so brainy.., I stan🥰
I absolutely agree with Pumla. That was my take when I got married 3 years ago, you don't have to wait years to learn something through experience, you can actively learn it from an authority on the subject matter. One of my personal axioms is "whatever you've not actively learned how to do, you don't know how to do" I think this truth is elusive in relationships because we are naturally relational beings. So because we have a native proclivity to relate we think we know how to do it well. But the truth is, just because you have a propensity towards something doesn't mean you're a master at it, mastery is a result of scholarship. So because many of us don't realise we need to learn how to relate, especially with the opposite sex, we go through life wounding each other, cos the truth is we don't know what we're doing. So, to any younger bump lover on here who is still not married or in a life long commitment, one of the best things you can do for yourselves while you wait, is to actively learn how to relate within the context of a relationship. As in study, the same way you studied your subjects in school. Get the book Pumla shared from, find other resources, but by all means ACTIVELY LEARN...my absolute best resource is Esther Perel, she's a Belgian - American Psychotherapist. She's brilliant, and she has a RUclips channel, check her out. Love and Light💖💞💫
I'm a huge fun of Esther Peril too! I honestly don't know anyone in that space that is as amazing at disecting relationship dynamics as she is. Love all that you had to say here too.
0 seconds ago Rosette, you look so lovelyyyyy, the hair the dress matches the shoes. Racheal that dress is popping! Angella, I almost did not recognize you? You look lovely? The hair is giving royalty! Manuela that hair and out fit your giving these American celebrities who always look on point on vogue, no matter how old. You look fly anyway Manuela.Love you guys thank you, for being vulnerable and letting us into a little of your personal information. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
What makes this show captivating is the fact that each of these five ladies is unique in every sense and there's a way it makes the show just complete ❤❤❤
After watching this I feel so much better. I thought I was the worst in my relationship when it came to conflict. Hearing the same things shows that I need to give myself grace. I am learning and praying for self control in my relationship.
Racheal!!!! I feel like I am the one seated in your chair 😢😢😢😢😢 What a healing experience to hear you literally speak out for me, in every possible way. I cannot believe this! Hope we meet and have a conversation sometime. As if it is not enough that we both cut off sisterlocks in the same week 😢 Now this! You ladies are a great inspiration. Take care of yourselves! We need you alive to stand up for us and teach us to do the same for others ❤❤❤❤❤ A heart for each of you.
Nowadays, parents have taken confrontations to social media. Its so sad. Solving marital issues on socials while recording. Racheal, you are so wise as i enjoy listening to your perspective about marriage. I have taken a lot of what you have said over the years and used it in my own marriage. I also love that you used scripture to explain your solution to conflict. God bless you.
Since I'm singular and have no experience in relationships plus I was raised by a single mom that being said, I have never experienced conflicts apart from neighbours and other people. Therefore, I will enjoy the comments and the show thank you ladies. ❤
One thing I like about this program is that I can not watch it without a note book😊 Thank you for the educative conversations your really helping me grow better. I am just in my early 20s and this is grooming me to be a better version of me. Kudos 👏
"I guess as I resolve and work through stress by stepping back and focusing on myself, you do so by ending things." and that's the last time we spoke😂.so thank you ladies for sharing on how best we can resolve conflicts amicably as this has left me in a better place to handle considering that I feel healed and ready to move into another relationship and Rachel, thank you for teaching me better vocabulary and for being a calm lady.
Yo right Rosette! I have learnt that the devil is not happy with marriage,i learnt to exercise self control not to throw words anyhow because comparing my personal person am troublesome. Am not good at comforting but when he does i get to say what is on my mind. What has helped on my side,is self control ,listening and talk after not forgetting praying about it. Thank you ladies and dont forget to bring a male version with( Andrew kyamagero,Mr Mulondo, Ben and Baby KuKu) Thanks & keep serving love from a bump lover 4rm KGL❤
am have very high self control. a number of times i keep quite and come back to that issue when i have thought through everything. It has even helped with my friendships.
Thanks Ladies for the great talk.. I can resonate with it 100%. In every relationship , you have to look at your self first , work on yourself to be the better version of you , the rest will be history.
So I don't even know if this would be seen. But ladies. Encourage people to always go back and watch the episodes Am re watching this the 3rd time but every time it has been a different revelation. The last statement is so powerful. Write down the things you want your partner to be and be that. Wooowooo.
One marriage councilor once said. As parents, we have to let our kids (depending on age) see some conflict. So they learn that things happen, how to resolve n form proper habits... Hearing Mauela, Angie, it now makes sense
I understand Racheal on consulting a guy view. I recall my husband and I arguing over and over about the car. He always wanted to drive my car and not his. Yes I know we become one after marriage but somehow it would really annoy me because I felt like he was just using my car to show off. Lo and behold when i consulted our bestman, he told me openly that even he himself would steal my car. its a guy ego thing. So i learned to approach the issue from that perspective instead of killing his ego.
Ladies..you are transforming to greatness.Pumla's research is making her a psychologist one of these days... Angie the Friday catch up is vibe... Rosette sure self control is learned over time and it's a skill..Rachel great to learn that crying does not get you affectionate most times....Manuella..what happens then when you can not fight..ehh...that's still calls for self control....
I agree 💯 with what Rosette said about learning to ignore some insignificant arguments in a marriage because as a believer, I know that the devil is out there to "steal, kill and destroy " especially destroying the marriage covenant. Engaging in prayer rather than arguing about every little thing is important. Pray for your spouse in all areas of their lives, sometimes they go through things and need prayer covering. If I had known this some years ago, probably things would have turned out differently in my marriage. I am Praying for all those that are going through tough times in their Marriages. Stay blessed.
You guys are just so amazing, thanks for going over and above for women, nothing can equate to your sacrifices, may the almighty bless all of you abundantly 🎉
I here Angie's side of view about talking about it there and then but the most hurtening thing is to be with a person who is not realizing the wrong he has done however much u talk about it
49:05 Similar to my story. Getting married, I thought my hubby would be my safe space, I thought if I cried, he would hug me and hold me but I quickly realised that he didn't know how to deal with such emotions. 😂. I realised that he is not a bad person but he just doesn't know how to deal with such emotions. Most people grew up in survival mode and life hardened them so much that they expect their partner to just suck it up. That's why it's important to have a community and other trusted people who can be a support in ways where your spouse may not be gifted. With the obvious boundaries ofcourse. And just like Manuela, when I stopped crying, the soft side of me went with it. I feel like there are depths of vulnerability I would have loved to reach but I have since blocked them. I haven't had a cry in years. I miss expressing myself through tears 😭
My swt darlings we thank u for the advise and real conversations plus taking us a journey with u in your lives. More blessings may God reward your efforts and ministry.
Thank you ladies, always excited when I get a notification. Well me and my fiance, we met on the 1st of June 2021, and every 1st of the month we celebrate and discuss how our relationship is taking both of us. This keeps helping us understand each other, our expectations, things that look like lag us behind..this has kept us friends...so sometimes during conflict, I remember this is my friend and I want my friend to stay..so we put in the work. I also didn't know some men (mine especially) are so onto wearing the ring all the time...its just an engagement ring, but because we celebrate these days, I see the importance of how much he embraces the ring on my finger....I think we are growing stronger everyday with this....and pssschhh its long distance btw and I am loving it. 😊
Beautiful episode ladies and your increasingly look amazing every Friday! Racheal your opinions are always so real and giiiivvviiinnggg ❤ What triggers me is delayed communication from him that keeps my mind wandering since I'm in a long distance relationship. For resolving the conflict , Friday happens to be the day we agreed to have the most quality time for each other and so I use this day amidst the beautiful moments that's when I want to resolve everything that I felt uncomfortable with more so during the week. Then judging other people's relationships while telling him has helped me have access to his thoughts and also pass my bu opinions and feelings 😅( we judge other's relationships together)😅
OMG, i just got on that Holy spirit part for Ranchel and waoooo... Ladies, it is a game changer.. the holy spirit is so real. Sometimes i even send a text when my data is so enough and on but going back i find the msg not yet sent and i have mastered to acknowledge its the holy spirit speaking and i will just delete for all ... My husband will say, whatever you have deleted, thank you because i am sure it was going to ruin my day😂😂😂
Love you ladies❤️❤️ Thank you so much for sharing your personal stories, we are learning from them. Thank you and may God bless your beautiful families ♥️♥️ Love from London
In my home, there was not much confrontation but I am so confrontational, I also fear. My triggers are: 1. Disrespect from men 2. Unfairness/injustice 3. Nonsense/unseriousness/mediocrity 4. Lies/hypocrisy/pretence 5. And others that really depend 😂
Me here watching the show after having a trigger by a work mate😢i am so thankful the laughter u brought to me has made me calm😅God bless you ladies. My greatest trigger is when i am taken for granted, i really hate it ehhhh like no matter who it is, once they have taken me for granted i will definitely come for youuuu😂😂😂😂i will truly go for the individual
I really grew up from a violent family. My dad would physically fight with my step mum. Throw sauce pans, plates, literally anything to each other. But none of their actions has affected my married life. I have been married for 7 years now but how i handle conflict is really different. I am a lover so i love talking talking and talking about things. What triggers me though is an unaccountable person/partner. Accountability in terms of finance and what someone has done during the day or probably what you intend to do in a day, week or month. Otherwise, thank you for building the nation
Angie!!! Umependeza kweli hio nywele alafu ukapodolewa vizuri kweli! Umependeza!! Its SOOOO nice to see ALL of you together on here!! Here's to 2024! Im late to the party but nimefika!🎉🎉
Bump love bump love bump love, goodness knows how u ladies impact me in all ways. I love and appreciate each of for every insight in every topic. Everytime I want to share my honest story and experiences I get reminded that the people who know me personally are put of this family 😂 and I shy away becoz then they will relate 🤭
This has been so insightful, it significantly means conflict exists everywhere even with ownself. I always thought my neighbor has a better relationship than mine but we are all in this together, the ideology is to make it work. Thank you ladies for this insightful episode. We need part II of this episode from the men's side. Again thank you
Hello pumla, I also can’t handle dishonesty. I have matured so much that I am willing to take and forgive any hard bitter truths , be it murder, cheating, abuse…….but my ears can’t take in the smallest lie. I continuously pass this on to my children
Some people view conflict as a sign that you are not meant for each other. They don't realize that the fighting stage can last as long as it does for different couples.
Quite an interesting topic, what a lovely show, thank for being real., Like Rachel the English at mine can be real and tables a flipped, but am a work in progress, I can relate with you all. May God bless you all. Thank you for speaking life to many.
See your narrow understanding ability😂😂😂 i’m loving her so so much actually. Definitely she is the older one, something she has always highlighted it herself so what is your point?
No, Pumla is not yet 40 I believe she mentioned being 38 last year and I don’t think their age should be such a big deal let’s concentrate on the information coming out of them🙄🙄 what is wrong with people and all the scrutiny
hehehe first of all ladies i love love your attires, makeup and hair these days. some of us dont miss any episode but rarely comment though we like and share. This topic has really made me come out of kamooli🤪 , early in my marriage i used to be like Racheal until i matured, so right now i dont even think i have triggers coz i taught my heart to expect anything so even when its triggered, it doesnt react. Mutima gwakaluba🤭type of thing.
Manuela my soul sister.....its almost as if you're reading from my pages many times..and then today you were so spot on with the 2 triggers it's crazy!
Pumla giving nuggets as always❤❤I always look forward to her/your submissions!! Thanks ladies for yet another amazing episode. Ps. Rosette, I was looking forward to tasting Newman’s snacks when I visited Ug. Finally did. Soo delicious. Hopefully you will soon export to EU❤
I would like to commend Pumula, for the research as she made about how to resolve conflicts in a peaceful way. I have learnt that one needs to communicate in a good mood and self control. And l think the relationship am in working out because before the relationship came to a dating level we used most of time at secondary school, university level to understand one another. All in all thanks the Bump love hosts we love very much for sharing freely with us
I can’t get enough of bump love always. There are times I find my self watching an episode more than once. Thanks bump love, so inspirational and educative
Another informative and well delivered episode! Love you ladies, I can't get enough of these discussions! We need a bump love conference, already. I love all your takes on things. I often find that I relate to each of you in a different episode...I guess none of us are just one thing. Sometimes I'm a bear and other times a hyena but I'm mostly an ostrich.11 years of marriage and still getting better at resolving conflict. Thanks Pumla for doing the research and shortening the journey so we don't have to start over again. I learned so much today. Keep it up 🎉

I think i am Manuela and Pumla combined!
@@nabendefrancescabrine5511 Now I fear you too hahah. I already fear Manuela Chei!!!

I absolutely agree with Pumla. That was my take when I got married 3 years ago, you don't have to wait years to learn something through experience, you can actively learn it from an authority on the subject matter.
One of my personal axioms is "whatever you've not actively learned how to do, you don't know how to do"

Am not yet married but have been learning so many things since i started following Bump love , Thanks ladies 🥰🥰
This conversation has been so soothing 😊❤ hugs ladies

My husband will say, whatever you have deleted, thank you because i am sure it was going to ruin my day😂😂😂
Rosette looks amazing
Thanks❤
Love you ladies❤️❤️ Thank you so much for sharing your personal stories, we are learning from them. Thank you and may God bless your beautiful families ♥️♥️
Love from London
😂😂 wabula ladies ur hilarious, thanks for sharing ur personal stories. They are educative and entertaining
And Pumllaaaa… we see you blushing about this healthy relationship!!😍😍 We Bump lovers are happy for youu!!!
Someone just had to mention 😅😅😅
In my home, there was not much confrontation but I am so confrontational, I also fear. My triggers are:
1. Disrespect from men
2. Unfairness/injustice
3. Nonsense/unseriousness/mediocrity
4. Lies/hypocrisy/pretence
5. And others that really depend 😂
Are you my sister ? I equate disrespect to bullying and show you fire😂
@@najunaevelyne674 we are definetely sisters🤣May God help us
The fifth one for me😂😂😂
@@veron2981 some triggers really depend 🤣
May God help us otherwise we will burst😅
Me here watching the show after having a trigger by a work mate😢i am so thankful the laughter u brought to me has made me calm😅God bless you ladies. My greatest trigger is when i am taken for granted, i really hate it ehhhh like no matter who it is, once they have taken me for granted i will definitely come for youuuu😂😂😂😂i will truly go for the individual
I'm enjoying Manuela's reactions 😂. She's even getting triggered as she mentions her triggers.😂
😂😂😂😂
😂
She was telling someone
Thank you ladies for such a rich rich episode and also for sharing your experiences and lessons so freely it’s truly empowering. Thank you all
Rosette’s make up look ❤️❤️❤️
It’s giving glowing skin
Thanks hun.
Accountability is important
Manuela's expression, Angie's wisdom, Rachel's relatability. Thank you ladies.
And Rossettes Aura ....
You are not alone😅😅😅
This has been so insightful, it significantly means conflict exists everywhere even with ownself. I always thought my neighbor has a better relationship than mine but we are all in this together, the ideology is to make it work. Thank you ladies for this insightful episode. We need part II of this episode from the men's side. Again thank you
Hello pumla, I also can’t handle dishonesty. I have matured so much that I am willing to take and forgive any hard bitter truths , be it murder, cheating, abuse…….but my ears can’t take in the smallest lie. I continuously pass this on to my children
Mubutuufu 😊
I just love the way Manuela expresses herself. Anyway all you ladies work for me
Some people view conflict as a sign that you are not meant for each other. They don't realize that the fighting stage can last as long as it does for different couples.
Naye Angie & Manuela 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
But I’m just like you; bold & fearless paka I get my point across
In this life I need to meet Pumla and we just laugh about life 🙌
Rachel is such a host❤❤
So perfect at it. 👌🏼
I genuinely invest in data to tune in and learn from your episodes, as each one offers valuable insights. Thank you for that!
The look on all you ladies face when angie said ‘even that day i was rushing back to twetegeka’ 😂😂
Quite an interesting topic, what a lovely show, thank for being real., Like Rachel the English at mine can be real and tables a flipped, but am a work in progress, I can relate with you all. May God bless you all. Thank you for speaking life to many.
Angie giving rich older aunty vibes❤❤❤❤❤
Is she too old? Tokisussa she is in her 40s and that's where they are all are in there 40s
See your narrow understanding ability😂😂😂 i’m loving her so so much actually. Definitely she is the older one, something she has always highlighted it herself so what is your point?
You dint have to emphasize “old” though!! It came off as tacky and disrespectful.. we know she’s old girl… i mean respectfully!
No, Pumla is not yet 40 I believe she mentioned being 38 last year and I don’t think their age should be such a big deal let’s concentrate on the information coming out of them🙄🙄 what is wrong with people and all the scrutiny
It's the word Older. You know how sensitive we are as women
I just love Rossetti's eyes .
hehehe first of all ladies i love love your attires, makeup and hair these days. some of us dont miss any episode but rarely comment though we like and share. This topic has really made me come out of kamooli🤪 , early in my marriage i used to be like Racheal until i matured, so right now i dont even think i have triggers coz i taught my heart to expect anything so even when its triggered, it doesnt react. Mutima gwakaluba🤭type of thing.
I love the energy you are sending ❤
I have laughed and laughed and laughed. Mrs. Mulondo 😂 we thank God for salvation😅
This is the best and most helpful thing I have watched recently, OMG! Thank you ladies, you are so loved here in Kenya🇰🇪 ❤❤❤❤
Wow this is so good guys. Thanks for the information you always delivery to us. You guys hv made me grow in my marriage no more crying like Rachael
I not only learn from the ladies, but they are surely my stress killers, really enjoying you ladies
You guys look so stunning ❤️. Am not a confrontational person but I will speak my mind.
Ladies, were you guys going for the old school mommy look?...coz you're rocking it. Its giving me chills of a tea party
All in all thanks the Bump love hosts we love very much for sharing freely with us
❤❤❤
I can’t get enough of bump love always. There are times I find my self watching an episode more than once.
Thanks bump love, so inspirational and educative
“I will not leave you, you will never be the same,”🙌🏿😂🤣
“You know the one that you love the most, will trigger you the most,”🙌🏿😂
Another informative and well delivered episode! Keep it up 🎉
The goal is to be better ❤
