I never played Tetris either. It never really got into it... but this game... it's just a work of art. I highly recommend the VR version. I got it and was BLOWN AWAY.
Tetris effect has to be the most visually stimulating game on the market by miles. Absolutely stunning game and I really want to play it in VR because i can only imagine it is even more incredible.
This song and the gameplay combined is something that just makes me forget about everything around me and within. If I were hungry before, I no longer am now. If I needed to do something, I didn't want to think about it, and if I wanted something else, i couldn't. This just wraps me in this amazing tetris bubble that I just can't look away from and could only watch in awe of the players skill and this amazing song put into a incredible video. I was never really a fan of tetris but because of this video, I really wished I could play this on the PS4 when it drops. Tetris is something really special that I need more of in my life. You can hear the guy from the trailer. This is actually kinda makes the track feel more... Scientific.. Sci-fi like.. Somewhy I feel like it'd be better if you could hear him well.
That is a very nice remix. I love the song from the first level. Can't get enough of it. Last weekend I had the chance to experience Tetris Effect multiple times through VR at EGX Berlin. And I have to say: it was my highlight of the weekend. It is so good that I will buy PS VR and the game as soon as it comes out on November 9th. Yes, I bought VR and I'm currently playing Tetris and Beat Saber on PS VR. It's awesome. I also played "Statik". A VR Game that is absolutely worth the price if you like riddles and puzzles and something kinda similar to Portal 2, at least humour wise.
I think I'm more hyped than I should be for such a "simple" game, even more so since I'm not really a "gamer", but with PSVR and decent headphones, this game should make for quite a playing experience. I anticipate high level of dopamine :) Nice remix, true to the original.
Just FYI the sound that comes out the psvr headset, even with good headphones, is just very high quality. I have a really good speakers (even though they are from the 70s) plugged into my TV and the difference in sound quality compared to Bose headphones plugged into the PSVR is night and day. For games like Thumper, i never use headphones for this reason. I am not sure why this. It could be the headphones need a good inline amp to get it cranking or just the sounds card isnt good? Try it for yourself but that's my experience.
I spend a lot of time watching Tetris Effect vids on youtube. Considering I hate Tetris, it speaks highly as to the strange, yet powerful influence the art in this game has. I wish it was a game I enjoyed, so I could experience it first hand. Ps4 dynamic theme is my favorite, and I regularly listen to Hydelic ever since I heard it
While I may not be as fast as the RUclipsrs, I love this version. All new features, including a chance to play with two other people around the world against the CPU Aptitude. Still battling in Area 5!

This game in VR made me believe in God....no joke, you leave your body.....it is insane, I have smoked DMT and it is freakishly close with no drugs needed.
When you play somehow your mind still sees the blocks. It uses the tetris effect and implements it into its gameplay, making a mesmerizing and honest to god beautiful world where its just you, the music, and the blocks
