    My husband just bought a miter saw for me. The tutorial was so helpful and easier to follow then having my husband explain it.

    This was great to watch. At my age 66 and never ever using any power tools I don't think I'd be buying one. Not to say I couldn't learn but I don't think I need one. I am learning more about wood projects and did buy a miter box and also a table top saw. I want to get s jig saw and sander. Watching you is so inspiring and I love how you explain things so well. I'm really getting into working with wood but I'm just s crafter that doesn't have a booth or a place to sell my crafts. I did have s table last month at a craft fair and it eas outdoors and after I set up the tain came and it poured. I packed up and left. Was so discouraging because the last time I did craft fairs was 30 years sgo with my Mom. I have so much Fall projects I did sitting on my couch and LR floor. Snyway, even though I don't plan on buying a miter saw I love watching you every time you have a video. I walked away with more knowledge then before so thank you.

      Aww, I am so sorry it rained on you! It is discouraging at times! And, trust me I am discouraged for one reason or another every week crafting for a living! But, I love it! I love this community! The joy it brings me! Find the joy it brings you! Ya know!

    You could just take the first piece you cut, lay it on top of the second, even the sides and bottom, and traced the roof cut lines on the wood you wanted to cut. A lot faster, easier, and more accurate than guesstimating.

    • @thediystruggle
      @thediystruggle  9 месяцев назад

      Yes you could! But, I shared in the video I wanted them different and like to have fun with the sizes! It's not about I wing it because I dont know HOW to get an exact cut. AND, in previous videos, I have shared that technique.. I wing it because it's fun to have different sizes and shapes in my houses. Hope that helps!

    Thank you for this video. I am trying to decide which saw i want to buy. Can you tell me why you choose the 7 1/4 inch verses the 10 inch.
