As a woman I've had a bit of a diffetent experience walking through garbage city. Still it's not as bad as some people say and the Cave church was beautiful so it was worth it.

I'm half Egyptian and been to Egypt many times but only recently heard about this area with the Zabaleen people. The Cave church is amazing. Did you know the word "Copt" (قبط) actually comes from the ancient Greek word for Egypt (Aigýptios)

This is the route to the Cave Church. A must if you want to see something different in Cairo. We took an Uber from Giza. When we left, it was dark and a nice cairo family helped us. The husband spoke spme English, stayed with us until we hop into a tok tok that took us to a taxi stand.

this is so interesting to me; being from Vietnam and living in the Dakotas. Learning about a City Full of Garbage makes me think about life and recycling. Wow! Just wow! How do people live in such a odd place and still be healthy and living. This is a great video clip. I hope; the world learns from this interesting City of Garbage. And I hope the people in all of Egypt come to respect those who live in this strange place. God bless you; for showing me this. Take care; I hope, you enjoy something healthy and safe to eat and drink. Much love; from a former Vietnamese Chemical Engineer living in the Dakotas...

@@ZoubeirsWorld . Yeah . Rats r nocturnal, however my point is. . NYC . U can find them in the trash during the day, or in garbage bins when the garbage trucks come to empty the bins during the day. U can literally watch them flee as the trucks empty or move bins.. So as u walk around that place, and ppl r working away moving their recyclables around to be processed, I didn't c one rat scurry away.?. I think regardless of the amount of trash and u and I c in this vid, It's relatively clean place. I'd imagine it would have to be, because of the amount trash that could harbor rats infesting that area.. plus I did c a cat, from my understanding, cats are pretty big deal in that country.. . Not that alot of cats eat rats . It's Terriers that killed rats.. FYI. But cats have been known to eat rats. . from time to time
