Something similar happened to me I was at a bus stop and overheard two women talking in spanish trashing my clothes and shoes, I let them carry on for about five minutes then when we got on the bus I said to them in spanish thst I understand you and speak spanish the shock on their faces was priceless I then I said have a nice day in spanish anf sat there smiling the whole journey whilst they looked embarassed 🤣🤣
Love it! As an ESL teacher, I went the extra mile and drew up complementary notes to help my students study, even if it wasn’t part of my job at the academy. I never expected them to grovel in gratitude but being human, of course it felt nice that most of them appreciated my efforts. Until this one Japanese student. After I handed him the notes, he flipped through them carelessly, then looked at the staple holding the papers together with annoyance, muttering “mendōkusai”. I should mention that I placed Japanese translations on the notes I provided, for his convenience. I simply responded, “If the staple is bothersome, just remove it.” The sheepish look on his face!
This was a nice comedy/romantic movie, both were brilliant, nothing wrong with dreaming about romance, I can't believe so many people are hating on her right now, it's sad.
