When I want information/demonstration for knitting, I have only 3 knitters who are good not only with demonstration, but also have the expertise in how..Marley is one of the 3..
I'm a beader and crocheter. You did a great job with your teaching knowing your beading terms and how to use the tools! Jill Wiseman actually introduced me to you from her channel.
Bought my stuff today I spend so much money and and Walmart is cheaper for supplies .went to both places ..hopefully going back to get more lol ..I love this video my watch it everyday and I am your biggest fan cause I crochet 22 years and I taught myself to knit ..your videos help me a lot ..ty from the bottom of my heart you are the best ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for your video! I’m a knitter and found buying stitch markers were limiting coz I need a bigger ring or loop and this video inspired me to get supplies and make my own. I’m sure my knitting friends would love these as gifts too. Thanks again.
I've got all of the supplies from years ago when I played around with jewelry making. This is s great way to use up some of those leftover beads from Hewlett I've made!
Hello Marly,, I brought some handmade Stitch Markers recently off a RUclipsr 😁 but then I thought I can have a go myself 😁 I like different crafts (but Crochet is my Hobby 😁 I am not a jewelry maker either 😋 but I purchased some supplies to make my own Stitch Markers, so I found this very helpful 😁 thank you 💜 Erica x
You must be telepathic, I have recently picked up my crochet hook and knitting needles and realised my stitch markers had corroded! I cannot find any nice ones anywhere only plastic type safety pins which are cumbersome to use and stop the flow of knitting (but needs must😩). This is a VERY welcome suggestion. I already have jewellery making tools and beads, just need of few extra items. YAY! Thank you.
Widget warning! This hobby will take over your craft room. You will see a cool tool that will make making things easier and then you see those glorious glass beads and then and then and then.... ( Muhahahahahaha ) congratulations you are now a jewelry maker. You have been warned. I know cause this happened to me. LOL. Hi, My name is Aislinn and I am a crafter ..... Hello Aislinn. Great tutorial Marly.
wonderful! After watching your tutorials where you are using stitch markers, I was thinking that I would like those. Great vidoe on how to make them. Thank you.
These are so cute! and I can't wait to go and get supplies to make some of my own! I love the skeleton head :) Thanks as always and can't wait for your next video
I am just learning to knit. Would you explain the difference between stitch markers and progess keepers? I've also seen some markers with numbers, such as 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5... Thanks
I really needed this tutorial. My stitch markers are too tight on my size 11 needles. Fortunately I have a ton of jewelry making supplies that I've now put to use! I can't see how to add a picture of the 7 I made tonight. Thanks!!
I bought the stuff today at Michaels but I didn't get that tool !,do u think Walmart might have that tool ? You are the best teacher I learn so much from u ..
I bought my beading tools at Walmart in the craft section a number of years ago. If you can’t find it there, try the hardware department as the same type of tool is required for some electrical work.
Hi there, where did you get the beads that you used in the stitch marker with the swirls on them?? I believe that you used them in the video for making the bird seed cowl?? Thanks!!
Thanks so much for your quick response. I wettn on line Michael website more than half of he stuff I want it said out of stock .Where I live have no Michael or Hobby Lobby I also cheque on HL they have even less stuff to pick from any suggestion. we have beautiful ocean and sunshine out my window but everything else has to come from somewhere else.,
I make beads just for stitch markers. Or you can buy them already made. They will fit needle sizes 11-15 and also 0-10. You’ll have to check them out at www.leoriginals.com
Hi Laurie, You are correct. These particular stitch markers will not work for crochet but the video I did for crochet stitch markers will :-) Check out that video here: ruclips.net/video/Sqi2gpfgsvw/видео.html
Please do not record in stereo, I wear headphones and I cannot hear in one ear, even with turn it up all the way and the music in the other ear hurt like hell

Great idea! If you take the upper part of an earting - the clipppy kind- you could even create your own clippy markers, I guess...
I love it!! And yes i am so ready to run out and buy everything!! ❤️❤️❤️
I make paper beads and have made stitch markers using them. They are super light and pretty durable
Will you please show us how you make paper beads? Thanks
@@bsfb3ar There are plenty of RUclips videos on that subject. Some to look up are Janice Mae and DeeAnn Rick, these are who I learned from

Thank you. I’m not sure about Walmart.
I bought my beading tools at Walmart in the craft section a number of years ago. If you can’t find it there, try the hardware department as the same type of tool is required for some electrical work.
Great tutorial. How many stitch markers would you make for a gift set?
Hi there, where did you get the beads that you used in the stitch marker with the swirls on them?? I believe that you used them in the video for making the bird seed cowl?? Thanks!!
Marly please enclose links to where your supply are bought from including your toils, Thanks
Hi there, I purchased my supplies at Michaels.
I now have an unlimited supply of stitch markers :D
I just use plain paper clips lol. Easy and free :)

Great video. Does the bottom crimp snag your knitting or crochet projects?
+ela1984maa2 I've never had a problem. You can file it smooth if yours is rough :)
Thank you.😊
ela1984maa2 you’re a moron!

cute
Hi Marly can you green garden wires to make stitch marker???
I’ve never tried it.
If I don't have all the supplies, is there another way to make stitch markers with cotton thread?
There are many ways to make markers. This is just one way that I really enjoy doing.
How do you do this so that there isn’t a rough pokey edge to the last crimp?
I clip it super close and if it’s pokey I file it a bit.
Work
Love this! Any chance you can do a crochet version?
+Dana Marie yes, next week.
I wish you brought it up closer to the camera and have a clear background. It was really hard to see when it's so far away
Great video! But oh no now another craft to add.
Nice video. Thank you however wish you would get closer so can see better.
I did the best I could.
Ooo, yet another reason to raid my mom's craft room. (She basically owns an entire Michael's in there).
+Spiral Breeze sweet! Show me what you make!!
I bought 19 wire same as u is that ok ?
I think so :)
I'm that girl that uses paper clips. Maybe I'll treat myself to something from my treasure chest...I mean bead stash.
Those won’t work for crochet

Im not deaf in one ear. MAKE THE SOUND COME THROUGH BOTH EARPHONES!
WHY ARE YOU YELLING AT ME? THIS IS AN OLDER VIDEO AND I DIDN’T KNOW HOW TO DO THAT THEN!
@@MarlyBird had to make sure you can hear it.
Too long a video
Thank you for your feedback.
