I've just discovered your tutorial on making stitch markers. Thank you for giving such clear instructions. I'm going to have a go. I've never made jewellery before but would love to have a go, so I'll be checking out your other videos 😊❤️
Thank you so much Kerry. If you're a knitter, you might also like this one. ruclips.net/video/Oc4T16ZszLs/видео.htmlsi=Muj7UfIZtwBRXqgH I also have lots of videos on jewellery making techniques. ruclips.net/p/PLPf_M492CDQOEcJYq87gwf43BTIUnm3aa
Thank you for this tutorial. I am completely new to beading but I have made some really beautiful stitch markers for myself and my mum, following your instructions. Best of all, I had a bead that my grandson had given me many years ago when just a child, and I had kept it for all those years intending one day to do something creative with it. I have now made it into a stitch marker and it looks super. I wondered if there was any chance of you doing another tutorial on stitch marker holders? I'd love to have a go at one 😁🙏. Thank you again. I have really enjoyed beading and will check out your other videos, including the one on the stitch counter.
I love to hear stories like this. Thank you for sharing. Can you send me a link to the type of stitch holder you are wanting to make? That way I can do some investigation. Thank you. carol@thestylishmaker.com
@@The_Stylish_Maker Hi Carol, thank you for your kind offer to investigate. I have found a couple of stitch marker holders that I think are really pretty: I emailed them to you, but if you prefer I can list them here. Many thanks.
Greetings from France Yeahhhhh another useful project for my knitting The plastic stritch markers are so fragile and break, not made for 5 mm needles .I love this tutorial and will make a few stitch markers with the beads that my cats pushed off the table. Didnt know what to do with these "lost" beads Thanks a million for sharing. A big hug
You're very welcome. I had the same experience with my knitting when the stitch marker didn't fit my needle which is why I designed these. My cat also likes to interfere in both my beading and my knitting.
@@The_Stylish_Maker they are excellent helpers. While I am beading my 4 year Newfoundland comes near me all excited and "swishes" the beads off the table with her enormous tail or climbs on to my lap to INSPECT.
Hi Jill, I had to look up what that was so, no I don't. They would be pretty easy to make though. It just looks like the wire is formed into a figure 8, then the ends are tucked inside the beads. I would use a piece of 20 gauge half hard wire for this.
You would just need to use little lobster clasps/latch hooks instead of the wire so they hook onto the yarn since there is no needle to go over, just the yarn, similar to zipper pulls. Or… make a U-bend/horseshoe shape out of stronger wire with little rolls at the end to hold beads on and then it can get hooked into the yarn stitch 🤗
Hi Brandi, Thank you for your comment. I'm not sure what you mean. I did make a row counter if that helps, you can watch that here: ruclips.net/video/Oc4T16ZszLs/видео.html If that's not what you meant, feel free to email me pictures of what you're after and I can try and help. Oh dear!
Do you have a tutorial on hope to make an infinity stitch marker? Great tutorial!!

Thank you for the video❤️💐
You're so welcome. Thank you.
Can you make them for crocheting?
Hi Faye, I don’t crotchet myself but I’m sure you could. If you have something in mind and send me a link, I can see what I can do.

How to add a latch so you can use it for crochet?

Great. But that was a lot of wasted wire.
Thank you Mirella. I'm sure you could be more thrifty with the wire. It's much easier to demonstrate using more, rather than less.
