I think the problem with this concept is that you already know which players are gonna be amazing and which will be awful.

I think this would be a better idea here would be if they were able to keep their ratings from the old career mode. So if Willshire was a 85 in Fifa 13 career mode but in FIFA 14 ended up on a 80 I feel like him getting an upgrade in FIFA 14 to that 85 would be more fun. Because it could add more unpredictability and the same would happen the other way

Also, like the movies, when you change something from the past, the future is different. Is boring to see how you only get advantages and no drawbacks from the signings. For example, if you had Neymar, Saka wouldn't fit on the Team.

I once did something like that in NBA 2K. Ended up having the best five players of the 2000s all in one team, was great fun. I just think that it's a bit difficult as editing rosters in FIFA is more difficult
I remember watching your Southend United career mode back in fifa 13 and got me well and truly hooked on career mode. Undoubtedly the GOAT of career mode

Really cool concept, enjoyed it alot! I only think you should have kept Wilshere and instead of knowing he wouldnt reach his potential and sell him, try to do the opposite and upgrade his rating in the next fifa/season based on how he performed for you and make him what everybody hoped he would be😁
Great idea it's nice to see that FIFA creators are able to come up with new concepts even though that developers add very little to the career mode
They didn't even bother to fix the bug from previous FIFAs, such as long/short sleeve options turned on randomly during winter regardless what we've set personally, and those options don't even work on fictional players AT ALL.
It's because EA don't care about making a good football game for football fans anymore all they care about is UT

I love this video idea ,I think the only thing that would make this even better but would be a lot of work is to continue with the ratings from the game before because this will change the teams so much and open a possibilidade to see a failed wonderkid as a 90 rated in FIFA 23 and you cant just buy players you know that are going to have a 85+ rating

Wenger wasn’t sacked. He left a year before his contract expired. Just wanted to get that clear. He made it clear at the end of the season that this would be his last season being a manager.

I've done career modes like this its honestly so fun 😂 but I try to make it more realistic with players the club were actually linked with and close to signing (i.e. Fifa 14, Arsenal were in talks for suarez and only missed out on Higuain because they didn't want to pay £40m for "Real Madrid's bench player" so one of those would've been done over future world beaters like Kane or Ederson)
Arsenal failed to sign Higuain because Madrid pulled out of the deal. Napoli was willing to spend a lot more money on him after the sale of Cavani to PSG, eventhough Madrid had already had a verbal agreement with Arsenal.
Might have to try this with say an Everton or maybe Villa career.
