- Wow what a journey! 5 weeks around our beautiful country - outback to coast and down the centre! But how much does travelling Oz cost? We show you how much we budgeted and how much we actually spent. It gave us a shock and still does looking back! We didn't even have our new caravan in tow. Regardless, we lived it up to the max and loved every minute of it. Watch how we show you how to budget for any trip and which app we used to keep track of our travels and expenses. Hey Paul! Oh that’s great you’re tuning into our old videos. Unfortunately they discontinued Wander Wallet but there’s now an app called Wanderlog for travel or Xero for monitoring expenses.
I love how you are both from VIC and wanting to show some vic spots to go to. You get a bit over the QLD & WA stuff. We are on the Mornington Peninsulas so this is great for us. I love the budget, I am an organised person but on another level where I actually do envelopes for our adventures. 😂 not so much now that our boys don’t always come along. My friends give me heaps about it.
Ha ha ha love it! It is good to have a budget per day or week otherwise you’ll just spend and spend. Yeah we have to make the most of VIC while we’re still working and try to find unique places to visit when we can.

Thank you so much for following along 😊. For day to day life, we just use our own Excel spreadsheet. For travelling, we use Wander Wallet. We have heard the app. Spending Tracker is pretty good as well 👌

Hi Matt, that’s great to hear! I’ve just had a quick look through the App Store and there’s an app called Wanderlog so I’m wondering if the creator of Wander Wallet changed the name and icon? If that’s doesn’t tick all the boxes then there is Xero Expenses which tracks both expenses & mileage. Let us know how you go.
