- It's that time of year again! In the words of John Snow 'Winter is coming' and so are the malamutes new coats! Shedtember is widely celebrated by malamutes and dogs alike where their coat departs them and tries to make home in your tea, dressing gown, car dashboard, kids toothbrush and anywhere else the wind takes it! Luckily for us we were sent the Oneisall pet groomer to test and it's such a good tool for the job! It keeps the hair at bay and stores it til your done! Usually Milo is off fighting a pile of malamute fluff carrying it around the house when i do this but this time he sat in dissapointment and watched as it conveniently collected it all haha. its a handy small unit you can carry with you travelling, thumbs up from me and Niko! I love how Phil hates baths. But is perfectly willing to jump in any Lake or pond at any second.

I think because lakes are easier to go into rather then a bath tub. Plus it’s his idea to go into the water.

I love how the dogs love the lake especially Philly bear and Niko, Teddy, but not bath time for Phil. I notice Teddy is the only one does the paddle. Phil and Niko don’t really swim in the water. Phil and Niko stay in low end of the water.
Forget the grooming combs, that vacuum brush set-up is genius!!! Didn't really bother Niko at all. More fur for Phil's "coat".
Nikko is such a good girl. I can’t imagine most dogs would put up with being vacuumed.

After taking care of 4 Siberian Huskies I used the Metro Vac Air Master Blaster MB -3CD and it was so much better keeping them groomed. You just blow them out, outside and no need for brushing unless you want. Plus it will dry them quicker than anything else too. Lots of other uses too!
How does a full time job fit into the day around baby care and watching, getting Mia off to preschool and home again, dog grooming, bike runs, lake visits? Shane work at home also? Must have great jobs and amazing time management skills!
Good question! I don't remember a time when it wasn't all gogogo! Hard to keep up but worth it. Yes we both work from home now luckily
Have Teddy and Milo become best friends? Milo has finally warmed up to the naughty puppy😂
I would say Milo has now trained Teddy to the point where he finally knows when it's time to leave Milo alone.
And Teddy also knows what consequences it will have for him if he doesn't leave Milo in peace and annoys him.

Maybe the trimmer could be used on the long hairs on the paws, im frequently having to trim my granddads bernese mountain dogs pads as the long hairs make him slide otherwise.

be careful using clippers on huskies or malamutes, you can mess up their double coats.
Loads of fluff as Niko and the others shed the summer coat and grow their winter fur
A similar device was presented on the Hosico Cat channel some time ago.
You brushed the cat and the loose hair was immediately sucked up by this vacuum cleaner.
But I'm a little skeptical.
Because Hosico didn't look particularly happy in the video and Nico felt the same way here in the video, especially when you suctioned her leg with this device.
Well, let's wait and see how Teddy finds the device and how it works in everyday life.
Niko doesn't like her paws being touched so she always tries to pull away just from your hand stroing them

I remember watching a video when Amelia started crawling.
She kept wanting to touch Nico's paws. But Nico didn't want Mia to touch her paws and kept pulling them away.
Whenever I watch them, I feel itchy and stressed with all these animal hair.
