Hallo sir in our lab there is a SURFTEST SJ- 210 of Mitutoyo. Now when I trying to start show Returning massage can you halp me what can do. If you make a video on that if possible.
Is it correct to measure surface finish along the circumfrence of Clyindrical job having dia approx 86 mm using a skided Mitutoyo SJ 210 instrument , by plunging the stanadard mitutoyo detector stylus combination by approx 1.0 mm using height gauge inorder to acheive positive contact with the surface ? Surface finish requirement is Ra 15 microinch . Need reply from Mitutoyo, asap !!
This is for Surface mesuring equipment .75mn is the measuring force. Please view link www.mitutoyo.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/1984_Surf_Roughness_PG.pdf
All the Mitutoyo videos are very helpful. Thanks for making them so easily understandable and available.
what are example applications of the .75mN detector vs the 4mN detector?
would these units work well on non-machined surfaces? such as cast, or powder bed fusion 3D printing?
What is the applied pressure from the stylus?
nice thankyou
You're welcome.

Very nice information 👌
Thank you!
Why don’t we used skidless probes for all the roughness measurements. It can be measured all the types of profiles right..?
Many customers requires calibration for roughness specimen.please advise the scope for the same
I want know, any measuring instruments for sand blast finish checking if any kindly give suggestions
How to measure the roughness for the spherical surface?

Hello, there are two types of stylus .75 and 4nM. Can you explain why will one choose one over the other?
