The back-and-forth between Radhika and Kathleen regarding capital controls was revealing. Also the fact that Kathleen literally laughed when calling the IMF 'redistributive.' She knows the current system is piracy camoflaged in complexity.

That’s what happened when the US behaves like a mafia gangster and threatens other countries with its power and privileges all the time! It’s time for the American people to admit the faults and abuses of their country in order for it to improve instead of covering things up, deny, and lie for it all the time! That won’t do anything for their country except enable all of those mafia behaviors! Such as blocking people’s comments simply because the truth hurts and attacking people for sharing an opinion that isn’t rosy about the behaviors of your mafia country! Talking it out and admitting your country’s faults is the beginning process for a flawed country to heal itself.

I am afraid that Kathleen is worried about the threat that BRICS is posing to the current System. On the Gold exchange which she stated that Russia, China and Dubai have at present, and in her opinion that these countries would not want more, betrays the fact that Russia and China want to greatly reduce the influence of the current dominant Commodity Exchanges, Comex and LBMA. BRICS basically wants a Commodity Exchange which reflects true supply and demand unlike the current ones where speculators and Big Western Financial Institutions dominate. It can be deduced that what BOTH Russia and China want in BRICS, is likely to happen, it's just a matter of time.

She’s a bit insecure, trying to take personal credit for what was obviously a team effort, yet she is clearly an *insider* as Ben points out. She makes several good technical points, such as the legal jurisdiction of BRICS Clear. Her response to Ben’s comment that BRICS is not interested in dedollarizing non-BRICS capital market @24:00 is valid. China has no interest in exposing itself to the financial shenanigans of the speculators and grifters that comprise so much of financial “engineering”.

Kate Elizabeth Cressotti thinks a BRICS currency could reduce the dollar’s dominance, especially in emerging markets. To hedge against that, she’s suggested increasing my exposure to commodities and currencies from emerging markets.

It's funny how the West complains. Too many Margaret pouring in the country to me. The markets are pouring in to England and America. Well, if you want migration to stop like this tlet, Africa, breeze and let these countries breathe and that's what they're doing. Whether you like it or not, the world is changing as they breeze and get better and become richer and take care. Of the people who pull out of poverty in those countries. There'll be no need for migrants pouring into Europe and America. In their thousands on boats anymore, khadafi himself said that. And I agree with him a 110%.

Tyson is the most deeply informed guest you’ve ever had on the show and certainly the most “inside/outside” expert in global finance (with the possible exception of Richard Werner). She makes some brilliant and rarely heard statements: “China has had near zero inflation for thirty years and no year with zero growth….China has hacked stability….and this is what it’s trying to spread [to the rest of the world]”. And her follow up comment on the split of HSBC is most interesting (HSBC was the object of a lawsuit by Ping An, one of its largest shareholders who wanted the bank broken into two pieces).
Her observations on China’s evident preparations for war - and its stockpiling - are truly provocative. Her answers to Ben’s question at the end are simply dazzling in their expansiveness and her positive comments on progress in Asia and the Sahel are gratifying to learn.
Radhika is very persuasive on capital controls.
Please have her on again soon. And Professor Richard Werner.

The BRICS countries have not dedollarized. From what I see, they can only create an alternative system for using their own currencies, and this will not be able to de-dollarize the world...
Therefore, while the BRICS countries are exploring alternatives to the US dollar, it's more accurate to say they are seeking to reduce dependence on the dollar rather than completely de-dollarize the world.

With BRICS many nations wount face bankcruptcy as their properties and assets instantly become of value and can raise money unlike before these countries must get the dollars sometime at high costs.
