MARIAH is gorgeous definately a fav back in the 90's, her work ethic is amazing, she is her own back up singer, and she can shift her vocals like a gear on a racing car, Vision of love must be next cant wait for more Mariah reactions. like watching your reatctions, your happy and funny. an oldie but a goody that may make you groove is "Aint nobody" by the Queen of Funk Chaka Khan and another funky artist is Rick James song is "Super Freak". all the best on your reaction journey.
Amazing song. It’s her own song but samples make it last. The studio version is amazing and her best song in my opinion. The best version of this song is the SNL version of it!!
Instead of finishing the rest of the MTV performances do these… -Vision of love live at Oprah 1992 or live at Tokyo Dome 1996 -If Its Over live at Grammys 1992 -Make it Happen live at Madison Square Garden 1995 Trust me on this one, im a lamb (mariah superfan) and know her best performances!❤🔥
Pls dont do the rest of the MTV unplugged performances for the songs, the Emotions, Ill be There, and Someday were the only highlights of the show but if im being honest the rest were okay compared to MANY other even BETTER live performances for the rest of the songs. For example for “Make it Happen” i HIGHLY suggest u react to the Madison Square Garden live version from 1995 instead of the mtv one, its 100x better and many lambs (mariahs fans) consider it one of her best performances. For “Vision of Love” instead of the mtv version do either live at Oprah 1992 or live at Tokyo Dome 1996, some of her best performances of all time, Finally for “If its Over” do the version live at the Grammys 1992, this one is a MUSTT because it’s considered one of IF NOT the best performance in her entire career or at LEAST top 3, and easily one of the best performances BY ANY ARTIST OF ALL TIME! Pls take my advice and do these lives instead of the Mtv Unplugged ones, in fact literally all the live performances i listed are more popular and known than the rest of the MTV performances u have left to react to, and thats because they arent all that and in fact are considered some of her worser performances. Much love❤🔥
Nah "If It's Over" has to be SNL. She might not do it exactly like the album but the way the band is playing there and the way she is TOTALLY feeling it (which you can hear in her vocals) is so so good.
@@zammich3649 debatable, technically speaking the Grammys version was better vocally, more clarity, power, smoother, and most importantly literally every single high note was supported on there and she even did the whistle in that version, the snl version had a few strained high notes and sort of dodged the whistle, however i can see why some ppl prefer it, it has more grit, soul, and yes she was feeling it more, she also did the full song.
@@angelxemotions9102 of course it's debatable :v they're both CAPTIVATING performances from the catalog of an AMAZING song writer/vocalist. i think you laid it out well. Grammy's has the technique while SNL has (the full song and) the soul. while i do miss the whistle in the SNL, i really like her alternative and think it really fit climatically in its own way. but what seals the deal for me is probably the band feeling it alongside her.
Whoever composed this song is a master, the notes are perfect and angelic, very soulful and beautiful. I loved Mariah Carey's image back then, so natural and real compared to how she changed into a cosmetic barbie straight hair image 🤔
Great reaction! This is my favorite Mariah song
This is my favorite song. The original version is perfect. It’s something about this song that keeps you drawn in to it, on repeat
Her whistle is so beautiful angelic 😇
This is one of my favorite songs. I don't know why, but I always get chills hearing it!
Gotta listen to Mariah's live to Make It Happen at Madison Square Garden - i love it more than the studio version
5:50 How’s this for something unrehearsed❓❓⁉️😁
She was something special.

This sound pretty accurate to the studio version
Listen to the album version for the beat!
I had the same reaction as you!!!
Love watching you react!!

man you are missing a lot by not reacting to her singing make it happen at the tokyo dome in 1996

It is composed by Mariah and Walter Afanasieff.
You have absolutely no idea it's a sad song, do you😅
