Love the detail that the reference art drops, that they give out the opposite of the expected advice. In that Demone whispers harsh truths you don’t want to hear, Vs Angelo who’s more then happy to feed you the honeyed lies you do.
That also tracks with the main spells: the "devil" effects hurt you but are much more direct(add from gy to hand, search a card, foolish), while the "angel" effects make you feel good but are more...vague(opponent chooses your revive, you shuffle and draw cards, excavation).
As I pointed out in the initial reaction video, even their effects mirror this, with Angelo giving you more faustian bargains while Demone gives you sensible if slightly obtuse ones. Also the link monsters where the angelic one is aggressive unga bunga while the demonic one protects.
I'm glad I'm not the only person who saw these cards and thought "finally, I can use BOTH abilities of Stained Glass of Light and Dark" instead of just one or the other. (The card is in my Valkyrie deck.)
I cannot explain how i love this archetype and want it to succeed (the artwork is gorgeous, the playstyle is fun, pend best deck etc) Im considering Valmonica Labrynth leaning on the trap cards personally, though i cant wait until its support wave comes in
Performage Mirror Conductor is easily the best tech option in a Valmonica deck for several reasons, I don't understand why people severely underestimate this card. - Level 4 Pendulum monster (perfect to go into R4NK toolbox) - No hard OPT-clause for it's ability to cause self-inflict effect damage & easily generate loads of Resonance Counters. With the Field Spell, you can even steal an opponent's monster if you activate Mirror Conductor's effect to gain 3rd Resonance Counter. - Easily searchable (with Performage Damage Juggler, Beyond the Pendulum. Pendulum Rising or Pendulum Treasure) - Can be retrived from Extra Deck to your hand by Exceed the Pendulum

I know that you can't plan around what your opponent is going to be doing, but it's probably at least worth noting that Demone gets a counter every time you take effect damage period, not just self-inflicted damage, so if your opponent does anything that burns you, it also gets a counter on her.
Wait spell absorption is crazy good. The best spell effects are all the self burn ones, but with absorption on field you gain both counters at once, never thought about it
Being an Italian and hearing you pronounce words like Intonare and Scelta (both Italian words) not knowing the original pronunciation is so wholesome X3. And also I just wanna make this deck so much, don't think it will ever be super competitive but the artwork is so gorgeous
I love these cards designs, but I bet when they come to master duel half the cards will be URs. I just wanna contemplate morality with my pendulum cards, dang it Konami!
Originally I thought you'd be able to put a P.U.N.K package in the game so as to reliably run Psychic End Punisher, but you *pay* LP in their effects, not take it as damage, so you wouldn't gain Resonance Counters unless they change the specificity on how paying/taking damage works. Sad about it, because imagine the hell you could raise with PEP with this deck.
If your opponent activates anti-spell fragrance and, for some reason, doesn't have any monster negation on the field with their effects, you can still set your pen scale
you could also play live twins in this deck, because: 1. its a link deck 2. it has life gain effects (that are situational, but are helpful non the less. 3. can kinda work well with the typing, as they only lock you into fiends, but you gotta be careful when you summon the evil twins, as there special summon effects lock you into fiends, but then that means you cant go into your fairys. Is it a perfect matchup? by all means NO, but does it work at least? yeah it does.
I love the deck but want to see it playable. I think Livetwin is a good tech to take inspiration from on how to enhance this deck without ruining the theme. To start give them some alternate versions of the pend scales. An alternate variant of those cards lets them be the same creatures, just with different effects and/or pend scales. I'd also love to see a trouble sunny equivalent to the deck. Make it require both link 1's, and have it's art be of Seletricca utilizing the power of both the angel and demon. It could even have a similar effect to trouble sunny to let it leave the field to bring back both links, though that might be copying live twin a bit too much. Ideally though I want to see a bit more interruption and teeth to the deck, since right now it just doesn't do enough to prevent an opponent from snowballing out of control.
Using valmonica as an engine for lv4s that can't special themselves is really funny. Using the 3 of the field spell, 2 or 3 of each name and a small suite of the spells in combination with something like ABC Field Spell Roulette as a deck that has a handful of lv4s that can search a lot if lv4s but can't get monsters out of their hand is something to test. Considering you also run destrudo and AFD you naturally find a way to gain counters. From what testing I've done the biggest hurdle is that Platinum gadget has really nice arrows and lets you vomit guys out but not being useable as material really hampers the combo lines. Also Supreme King Darkwurm as an alternate send off Dragon Ravine can finally has way to get out of face up ed
I especially love that it's a cheap deck in Master Duel, which is funny. If I had a nickel for every valid and cheap fairy deck in Master Duel, I'd have 2 nickles (Purrely and Val) which isn't alot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
pendulums are such a treat to Yu-Gi-Oh. Konami is testing their limits and creativity with cards design with the new pend decks. Nemleria, vaylantz, nouvellez, valmonica all utilities pends in different ways and every deck has an identity instead of the usual pendulum way of turboing 4 generic boss monsters

one thnig this "archtype" is gonna be amazing for is giving non pendulum archtypes a means ot dabble into the pendulum mechanic yes it cna only pendulum summon level 4, but it does so without any locks or further invesitment required(the scales search and place each other) and lvl 4 is very much the start point for many decks konami effectively made this into a "generic pendulum engine"

Who says you have to play the links? You can ignore the resonance counter part of the deck and use fhem as an engine to turbo out lv4s out of your hand
Unfortunately Evil Eye doesn't burn. It makes you lose life. That specific wording means it doesn't synergies with effects related to taking damage or paying lifepoints

Also im curious, if your interested in some new content i have idea's for Decks id like to talk about. Retrains for old Cards, like a Genie and the Lamp deck, where you have Lamp Equip (or pendulum) cards that make your genie cards stronger with "wishes"

i mean the artworks are amazing but the deck needs really insanely good support to be playable at all (with playable i mean Rogue.) Currently you just lose cards in your hand while ganing...literaly nothing

Well you can negate the card that is targeting your monsters, and then from then on they are safe from Targeting.
