I took my 64 internation scout to this lake back in the 1970's. My father passed away from a heart attach near the entrance to the Grisly Lake jeep road at 65 years old while riding his 250 Yamaha motorcycle.
pilot guy very true, I was impressed, open diffs too, it’s more about driving skills shown here isn’t it? The jacked up jeeps are not the way to go I don’t think, although a few inches should be fine?
It's a mule but in 45 degree angle could flip over if you're using the original size tires. Those rocks are very slippery for an original Willy jeep size and design of the tires more tire traction is need it
Watching the kid wheel reminds me of all the videos of kids shredding guitars, pounding drums, playing pianos all like professionals and that my adult self just SUCKS!
Great video , thanks for sharing. Bam Bam before the roll bar was fitted is cool too see, but glad you have 1 now
That kid is driving like a pro 🤘
the highlite of this video is definitely 11 mins in, the young fellow with the orange hoodie driving Dad's jeep! Well done!
Every video I see the stock ones do the best .
Rob K. The stock ones have some type a diff lock at each end, best modification you can make to ANY 4wd is diff lockers
That kid was amazing !
The purple jeep needs to trade his street tires for some proper off road tires
And the purple Jeep folk could get out to help stack rocks, maybe?🥴
@@Tom-uf2um AGREED!!!

Purple jeep needs to air those all terrains down some to even begin to try.
I remember that lake....and that is really the only obstacle if I remember correctly...😘🚙
Zt ,
New new Jeep guys will be like I need Forty Fours and front and rear lockers. World War II Jeep hold my beer

Loved the kid driving. Kool
How old is the kid in the video? My 6 year old son just loves watching him drive! He can't wait to drive our CJ on the rocks.
great stuff
Only the original willys army Jeep is the real offroad 4x4
Purple rig/ low range?
The purple jeep 15 inch tires not as sturdy like 700 16 inch tires I experience the same situation .
Sweet Jeep but yea air down and keep practicing. A skilled driver doesn’t need speed.

The guy with the purple Jeep could make it if he slowed down a bit and let the tires do the work.
My jeep cj willys 1974
Doesn't sound like a stock willies...
