I felt so bad the moment Ronaldo started crying. As said, he had given so much for Portugal ever since he's been given the captain's armband in 2010. Since then, he has helped Portugal win a Euro and a Nation's League, and even go past the Round of 16 in almost every World Cup he participated in.
I feel a lot of people make fun of him for being a crybaby whenever he misses an opportunity for a goal. But in reality, you know how much passion he has in football, where he would do anything for his teammates to where he has been such an influence and inspiration for so many rising stars, especially for his national team.
That is why even till this day, I will always consider CR7 as my ultimate GOAT no matter who wins this debate at the end of the day. Georgia were debutants and made it to the round of 16 while this is Slovenia's first tournament in 24 years and they made it farther than they ever have in their history. Slovenia's main drawbacks are it's lack of good midfielders to build up the attack and while they do have Šeško, who has a kick like a howitzer, he's still very young and could still gather tons of valuable experience that could massively help the team in the future.

Missing every chance, being very arrogant taking free kicks from crazy positions, and then ofc missing the pen. I hope tho that he can step up now and improve his performances for the next games. Portugal are notorious to struggle against low block teams, so I do believe we can beat France, but I would also like to see some change on the right flank, trying to bring Bernardo in more centrally.
