Use the 50mm focus length(cloest to the human eye perception), iphone x1 (no zoom) is 24mm so x2 will be 48mm≈50mm. Use the sunlight as light source and tilt the camera up a tiny little bit.
The camera lens actually distorts the images for depth. If you get a close picture of yourself, you might see that it looks way different than looking at yourself with a mirror. If you want to get way less distorted photos, use a selfie stick or place your phone, use the 10 second and zooming feature stand 6 feet farther from the phone. Hope this helps 👍
