What I find ironic is that out of all of the flesh-and-blood bosses you fight, none of them bleed. But Death, who is just a skeleton, is fucking spraying fountains of blood everywhere. Wat.

And I find ironic that you fight the end scene of this game on SOTN and the chapter name is Bloodlines.
I think the correct word would be "endoskeleton".

Fortunately you can only play as Richter once you beat the game as Alucard

Really great run Klaige. Love the Castlevania games but never beaten any of them, so it's my way of seeing the endings haha.
Same boat, but I actually have beaten Castlevania IV on SNES. If you want to beat a Castlevania game that would be the easiest one. Although it is still not easy, but even easier than the ones on the NES. And that is the only one I have beaten. lol

Is Death giving you the finger in the prologue?
yes he is very pissed off that he can never win against a belmont.
Those scythes in the Death fight come at you based on where you were standing just before they shoot out, not random but still really hard to dodge. Good incentive to use platforms in my experience!
Good speedrun, I'm playing the Dracula X Chronicles version right now and didn't know most of these areas existed. This might be worth a few playthroughs.

Using Maria is the only way I can get through this game.
I tried beating Dracula with Richter, Since i didn't like Maria's ending.
I died miserably.
Dawg this game gard asf I cant beat certain levels without the girl. After many many attempts I did beat Dracula wit ritcher tho lol i wanted that trophy
first time i played, only managed to rescue annete and killing dracula with Richter was a paaaain, when i unlock Maria was a joke hahaa

Rondo of Blood > Castlevania 4. Both are great games though.
I've got dissapointed with SCIV tbh - overrated as hell, I've beaten it once after reading how fking best classicvania it is and never played it again. SNES muffled music and sound effects sounds terrible too.

How the hell are you hitting that shortcut at the knights to get the pendulum. I've been trying to hit this for hours and I cannot for the life of me make it work.
