Sooyoung has way better vocal technique and stability than most idol "vocalists " these days... There are barely groups who can do proper ITNW covers live with dance, let alone a solo cover. In another group she would easily have been vocal line. Only in SNSD you will have a non vocal line member able to sing ITNW alone.

Absolutely! I am completely sure that she would be at least a lead vocalist on today's rooster of 4th Gen girl groups, and probably a main one if she trained slightly more on her pitch. I am so proud of how far she has come with her vocal abilities!

theres so limited technique in her vocals, she just can hit the notes. and her stability is damn good since shes one of the dancers of the group.
but when it comes to vocals, shes strained so bad, but thanks to her stability

@@skydendy97 you’re not wrong, she’s of course not a technical vocalist, and is not the same tier as the vocalists of SNSD. But some “vocal line” members of the groups these days cannot even be as good as Sooyoung even without dancing, just standing and singing. Her stability is amazing and that’s something some main vocalists of today’s groups cannot even achieve.
