Though my own personal testing I have to disagree on the Freightliner being better at the Ford on hills. Though it could come down to different condition as well, we both did testing on different maps (I did mine on one of the American Wilds maps, Mount Logmore I think it might of been), the hill I ran up had a few muddy spots in it, and as you showed that clearly favors the Ford. Also you used Low-1, so had very little forward momentum. I generally use Low-3 so I have a little bit of speed of speed and use momentum to my advantage. So under your driving conditions SD1 the Frightliner does look better, but under mine I'd still prefer the Ford personally.
Both of them are extremely good trucks. I like the FLD for all the variants, looks, and I’m assuming great handling plus, I like Freightliner as a company better than Ford. However I love the look of the LTL and is definitely a close second for the variants and other aspects. Nice job on the videos!
I like the Ford better myself as it's a more general purpose hauler. It can handle a little mud without getting stuck. Done a road train with the Ford leading and a trailerless Chevy behind. Ford get's stuck on hills, the Chevy helps with a push. Meanwhile the Ford can drag the Chevy through the mud.
I hate getting the trucks without cranes when you join an existing multiplayer hardcore game on either American Wilds maps. So I vote the FL. Edit - That happens a lot where you join them it seams and you're left with no way to load logs and the other players just go about doing their own thing. Those maps you really don't need fuel or repair unless well...you suck..lol so when you can't load up your just there stuck doing nothing unless there is a few watchpoints they didn't get yet or get garage open. I've tried for hours the one day to see if I could load a truck with the skidder which is possible but a pain in the butt. I did it two ways. Tip the truck/trailer on its side, push the logs in and winch it back upright. The other way is to climb the log pile with the skidder with logs in the claw, position the truck under it and drop them in.
Fuking hell so it is possible & this is why OG K-Serie's is better Just look at farming sim all the log loader's are based on the same design Willing to bet it's the same IRL too !?
I think Ford is a slightly better all-rounder, but really hurts when it can't use a crane. Freightliner is better on-road than the Ford, and has a crane, but it's gonna struggle a lot more offroad especially when hauling things. Overall it seems a little too close to call between the two, but we can all agree, the MaZ is still better than these two on the grounds that the semi-trucks are no match for the big green death twinkie.
Freightliner is my favorite but....ford is really better....but problems about ford is about wasting fuels in my opinion..Freightliner can be also fast but I pretty dislike freightliner because in my opinion..this truck is pretty weak...so I will vote it both of them
the FLD is transport truck and machines but not for ofrroad or the machinines are slow it get much time tho get our destination and the FLD transport that machines
They made lot of truck my friend. Starting from the stone age ending at very very late 90s. Later on their trucks were getting released by sterling until 2010. The trucks were released pretty massively. The only thing which put the ltl 9000 down is that finding parts for the cab were a problem.
2:21 the result is kind of ironic considering Ford's motto is "Go Further."
FLD is the best road hauler in the game, but putting it in the mud is the funniest way to play the game.
More mod reviews please. Especially map mods, I play the homecoming map mostly because you touched on it.
I chose ford because let’s face it your going to be in more mud then on road
I think he likes the Freight-Liner, I seein' whatchu doin'
Uncle Sam VS Uncle Sam lol
Two shit boxes. LoL
Every of your videos makes me want to buy American Wilds even more!
OH WOW!!!! PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!
LTL will always be my favorite road hauler
and its better offroad

Ford/my favorite truck of american wilds

I got the freightliner stuck on crossing near the lumber mill close to the garage. Went through 3 different vehicles to pull it out.
Good l love mudrunner
they both have the same torque number, but the freightliner is heavier
Great vid man but at 2:17 you misspelled getting
Nice now put them against the Kraz 256
@@SD1ONE that sounds good
Freightliner ! I think wins
Road race was tie,I think so

I remembered you can choose your truck no matter if you are lobby leader.
Off road capacity is very important in mud runner, so i prefer Ford
SD1ONE you ain’t gon get no grip if you don’t tell me
That is not modeled after an fld 120...its an flc!
I Will always love the ford ltl 9000
Fun Fact: The Frieghtliner Is actually an FLC not a FLD120.
The FLD120 Is more aerodynamic and newerthan the FLC
this low front DLC c
is auto strong but this is so harder on mud is seriolsy gopd but i like the off roead mud truck!
A normal f150 in real life if it had the same weight and same new tires it could probably win in a tug of war
SD1ONE 4:11 you gon lack gameplay of snowrunner while you worry about a crane addon if you don’t give me no gameplay of SnowRunner
You can get logs with the FLD, but it’s like open heart surgery. Extremely Dicy.
Is there any way to use that Spintires.exe mod (the one that is required by any tracked vehicle) with Spintires American wilds?
@@SD1ONE Thank you
Mack off-road winner every time
u should race trucks without any damage, like the dirt road test, both we're damaged .. just saying, maybe it affects the trucks
@@SD1ONE oke doki now i feel dumb c:

I think freightliner is the worst truck in DLC

Or tho in real life ford did not make much trucks so FRT has advantage of experience

Ford practically invented the trucking industry....
