I used the free one but since Feb 1 it says it's discontinued, and to download one of the 4 suggested on the site.. Thanks.

Good afternoon. So, I was flying my drone avatar at my property/home. I always use the B4UFly app and follow the rules. I don't know if I'm the intended person, but I received a notification of a complaint operation. I tried to respond to see if this was for me or someone else. When I filled out the info and wanted to submit it, it would not take and prompt me to the highlighted area. The part that asks for the ID won't let me input the info. How can I find out if this is intended for me?
Hello, if you are the subject of a complaint, the FAA will usually send you a letter. You can also always contact them directly and ask using the following link (it is specific to registration but they can help direct you) www.faa.gov/faq/who-do-i-contact-registration-questions-or-problems#:~:text=You%20can%20send%20us%20an,p.m.%20ET%20Monday%20through%20Friday.
QUESTION please: Im new to drone flying and realize there is 400 foot altitude limit in the US. What if you start out at the 400 foot limit and the drone moves over a hill can you send the drone higher than the limit to go up the tall hill while the pilot/controller stays down in the valley? Thank you
Hi. I’m a few months into learning and flying a drone. I may be able to help. I believe what you’re talking about is Mean Sea Level, MSL. Thats sea level.
Above Ground level, AGL is how the 400’ you’re referring to is measured.
@@1stAmendmentDrone hi thanks for your help. I should clarify my question sorry. If I am positioned at 1000 feet with the controller and1/4 mile away is a hill that is 2000 feet tall. Would I be allowed to increase the altitude from home point over 400 feet to make it to the top of the hill without legal issues?

It's really AGL. Above Ground Level. If you are in Denver, you cannot fly your drone because you are over 400 ASL?
@@dennislocsin Hi its not really the location it's a question about setting my altitude above 400 feet initially so that I can go above a hill that is over 400 feet tall a quarter mile away. The hill is much higher from the original starting point. thanks
when i use my app, it wont let me type in a full address. im in one state, i want to see the address for the job in another state on the app. how do i do this?
Hello, I'm not sure why that would be the case. I just checked the app on my phone, and it is working fine. You may want to submit a ticket to Aloft or the FAA on it.
