Julie so many people have done this with the LV toiletry pouch. LV must have seen these videos and got greedy and took them off the website. Now they’ve come out with a “toiletry pouch bag” for a lot more than the original toiletry case. Glad you were able to change this into a handbag.

No, I don’t have to be too careful about the insert actually coming out or anything, but I do have to be careful a bit when zipping it back up to make sure the zipper doesn’t catch the top of the insert. Hope that helps!

The reason why the bag inserts doesn’t fit is because for the women toiletries pouch which measures 10.5” W x 8.3” H x 2.75” D and while for the men 11.2”W x 7” H x 3.5” D from the Gucci official website. Perhaps ask the Etsy seller before buying just to be save. Thanks for the hack.

Hi Betty! I bought the option that was “pouch & chain” but as you saw in the video, the pouch won’t work. The chain is the one that is 70cm and there’s a drop down option to just order the chain only “Chain (70cm)”. That’s the one that I have as I did measure mine and it’s indeed 70cm. Hope that helps! Thanks. I did check the measurements for the insert before ordering abc it showed that it would fit but when it arrived, it didn’t fit.
