It takes a top-quality voice, (and lots of attitude!) to perform this song and make it sound as fresh and great. It feels like you revived the spirit of classic King in your voice and performance overall. Mike this is by far the greatest cover I have listened from you, up to date (along with Therion cover). Your registers are constantly improving in every new song, at least from all I heard in your channel. Also a great song very from one of my favorite musicians.

Man... the courage - to even consider - covering King Diamond... but then - to actually go through it and deliver. Impressive- big time. I'm just wondering- after giving it all you had in this video (clearly..) were you ever able to sing again - or... was this it? Jokes aside... absolutely stellar performance. Added to my playlist and will be coming back to here often.
Rad!! An original take on this classic, but faithful to the overall feel and sound. The King is HARD to cover/mimic (believe me, my little garage band has tried -lol), but you guys KILLED this.
I didn't know Young Axl Rose liked his grandma. Nice to know. Great job with your vocals! Drums were spot on! The guitarist however doesn't seem to know the riffs at times, semitones off on some parts, etc. As for the solos i can forgive him. Andy La Rocque is Young Yngwie level..........Very few, if any can clone Andy's soloing style. Overall a very good effort to sing a King classic like you've done, keep it up! From a longtime King Diamond fan! Rock on!

Been a king Diamond fan since i first heard Mercyful Fate in high school then in 1986 he went solo bought all his albums on vinyl and cd from then on. This was a masterful cover Mike stunning job. King would be proud!
The music is good The sound is very 80's great..the singer is very good....Bravo.. just 385 like...what shame...If the singer was a beautiful girl it was x 10...

Θέλω να πω. Κανείς δεν μπορεί να ματσάρει τη φωνή του King Diamond. Ούτε άντρας ούτε γυναίκα ούτε τίποτα. Αν επιχειρήσεις να επανεκτελέσεις τραγούδι του κινδυνεύεις και ακροβατείς μεταξύ γελοιότητας και ανεπιτυχίας.
Εγώ το έκανα άλλες 2 φορές πάντως και δεν νομίζω ότι τα πήγα άσχημα :)

King diamond lacks the power in his voice cuz it's falsetto. That's why I don't listen to him. Yours is much more awesome. Great job! Btw, I first wasn't sure if I heard right, but he really screams GRANDMAAA 😂 Not the most common word in metal haha. But seriously, of all your covers this is in the best 5 in my opinion!

I am driving myself to sing well but King Diamond is the highest level of difficulty and you destroyed this man. Both fry and twang in such a high range. You’re getting even better and are so accomplished that’s getting harder to do and yet here you go again. I would love to hear you do Riot anything from the Moore era. You could perhaps ellipse what Todd does and my money would be on you to do just that.
