i gave up Christianity a few years ago when i slowly became enlightened to the fact that all my ‘prayers’ and beliefs were simply my own delusions, created in my mind. yet until this video, i never truly knew how pagean the religion is. very interesting, as well as relaxing, thank you Derek! the explanation that the quote meant ‘age’ not ‘world’ was eye-opening!
Interesting information. In my experience and opinion... Religion is contradictory and hypocritical, hence the judgemental people who sound like they are in a cult who UNSUBSCRIBED. LOL. I am definitely not afraid to die without faith. I am not a sinner or of sin,nor will I live my lifetime on earth repenting for believing that about myself... that's such a sick way to be. How sad. I'm glad I'm free to be me, to enjoy life at peace with myself. My opinion! I am and avid SUN WORSHIPPER though. Thanks for sharing.
You sound very unsettled deep down and feel the need to comment such things with sarcastic tones to cover it up. And the Christian who you are referring to isn’t judging him he is clearly stating his feelings politely. In fact you are being hypocritical about that very point of judging. I know he would not judge you because of what we are taught matthew 7:1-2 and the reason why he is saying it isnt to judge it is because of ephesians 5:11
sometimes i try to understand these videos and i just can’t, i find myself straying away from your content a tiny tiny bit with some of the videos i have seen from you recently. still enjoy and love what you do for the community you created but sometimes i just don’t understand these types of videos. Religion and the creator are not synonymous. He nor any of the Angels are of any religion. Religion Is the product of syncretism, and man excluding/ including parts of the truth they want. Which is also how we get denominations. To anyone lost I would advise seek a personal relationship with The great (I Am that I Am) and not religion, neither The sun nor the celestial bodies, or the earth, or elements etc. But the creator of them.
For those of us who were raised in the church and essentially brain washed for years and told to believe the bible no matter what as everything else is from the devil, this video will indeed feel like blasphemy. I felt uncomfortable watching it. However, the truth about the origin of the Jesus story in particular must be told. The truth can often be uncomfortable. Personally, I do not like this type of content in an ASMR video but you were very brave for taking this one on and I see that you will be losing a couple of subscribers over this but the rest of us will be here in support of you. If there is a God which seems quite likely, then we would do well not to taint its being with falsehoods that we were programmed when very young and impressionable to believe mindlessly.

Brain washing is very powerful. Yes, I felt uncomfortable given my religious background but discomfort is usually required for growth, to face reality and to overcome. Then just because something feels wrong (subjective) does not mean it is wrong (objective). Logic and facts over feelings. ASMR reality outlined the historical information to support what he presented in his video. If you disagree with what was presented in the video and it is important to you for us to know what you believe to be the truth rather than this then outline the facts of your case and the evidence to refute the points made in the video; preferably without using the bible as evidence to support the bible. I believe the reason why there are many similarities and shared symbolisms between Christianity and paganism is the Roman influence on that religion.
