Chris, I can't tell you how much I appreciate you doing what you do. I've never been able to see well enough to drive. Sure enough not a big rig. But, man I'm here to tell you I've ridden in quite a few and I love, love, love these trucks. Please keep doing these video's. You're doing a great job brother.
Sorry to hear about your eye sight. My father inlaw was a pilot prior to losing 95% of his vision in Nam. He ended up becoming a flight/grounds school instructor. Just because you can't drive one, doesn't mean you can't be part of the logistics team. All us drivers need/want a good team helping us when we run into an issue on the road.
@@I_like_turtles_67 I wish I know how to get in to that line of work. I would love doing something like that. I'm a natural problem solver and I love having several things going on at one time. That would be a great way for me to be a part of the trucking world and man, would I enjoy that.
Chris you do a awesome job showing everyone what our industry is about and the work that is involved in all of the different commodities that are being hauled every day and the awesome trucks that are doing it. Keep up the good work.
Really cool Chris seeing Raphine Virginia!! My grandfather, gone now used to drive for Yellow Freight would tell me stories about his trips. He'd always say how he loved to run Raphine, beautiful country!! Thought I'd share. Loved the video, and thanks for your other videos as well!!!
dunno if anyone cares but if you're bored like me during the covid times then you can watch pretty much all of the latest series on InstaFlixxer. I've been binge watching with my girlfriend for the last couple of months =)
I’m from that area of VA, absolutely miss running those mountains!! I’m in Oklahoma hauling a crude oil tanker myself, may have to look at the jobs back home. Lord, I miss it! Great work Chris as always, beautiful Petercar!! Keep up the great work!
Bill Murray same here , Bill . I hauled fuel my entire live , but I am also hauling crude in Oklahoma now . and yes ‘m tired of being stuck in / full of mud etc videos like this and comments like yours are my inspiration to get my own fuel rig and be on my own again
I miss driving very much. I miss the beautiful melodic sounds of the jakes rumbling down the road and the women. The good ole days :). Driving through all the little tiny towns in the middle of nowhere. Hell of an experience, fun! If you’re a half decent looking guy who’s clean and well groomed there are many many BEAUTIFUL GORGEOUS women living in those small towns that are always ready n willing to have fun with a guy in a big clean fancy truck that’s stopping over for the night. Oh man I had fun! Something country women like about us guys who drive a big chrome rig and dress sharp with a pair of boots!
I've thought about getting it sponsored. Now that it's been repainted and other maintenance items replaced, that might happen. Yes it gets full at times.
How in the hell at 3:42-3:45 you can’t see any camera or person off the reflection of the back of the tanker? That’s amazing cinematography and awesome editing. Wow
Pulling a tanker was the first thing I did coming up. I didn't have a CDL...I drove it two weeks to learn how to drive, then went and got my CDL...it was the old days....
Big Rig Videos have you ever consider of pulling a tanker during your trucking career? I remember you saying that you pulled heavy equipment around your home town of sunny ☀️ Florida... I really hope that you will do the history of your life for a video here is a idea we the viewers could asked you questions about what we want to know about you and then you could answer them in a video! And put pictures as you are talk about your trucking career and how the trucking industry has impact your life Chris!
With that truck I hope it never hauls no t- mix or full load of 1993. Only 1987 or 1203. Very nice Big Tank. In SoCal the nicest is Golden Bear& Jetspeed. Some owner ops. Love the lights, keep on trucking!!!!
forgot to ask about the spec of the truck... motor, rears, why he goes with a cat, what he likes about a cat motor, this are things that owner are proud to talk about.. just my 2 cents lol great video sir thank you
Awesome videos, I love his channel. One question though how are the trucks having neon lights underneath? Arent those illegal in most places? especially red and blue colors?
@@nonsequitur807 it's very easy. And also i like the feeling that people depend on you to get them from point A to point B. The fact that I'm just not making Oklahoma great again, I'm also making America great again as well.
hauling fuel is the textbook definition of a "niche market"... and because of this, I would think hauling fuel can be lucrative and not have some of the usual headaches associated with "regular" trucking hauling ie; dryvan/reefer... (once you get past the idea of hauling a freakn' BOMB)
Hello, I was Experience driver. immigrant 4 years ago from Iran. before immigrant I was driving Truck Trailer between Europe and Iran with International licence. I have now received a driver's license CDL A. California D M V. I'm living lonely and driving solo is my habit. At the moment I live house of my daughter in Woodlandhills. I do bother with the snowy mountain road and long ways, but I do not like a driving team. Because I live alone, I do not need to go home. If agree your company , I will submit my paper document to Fontana for interviewing time. best regard. Nader Amirabadi
Looking good but I see all these videos of 389s and wonder why my steering wheel doesn’t tilt that much? I have an after market wheel and mine doesn’t tilt that much.
Dad always called those guys suicide jockeys he watched one exploded and pulled the man out of the truck it mentally messed my dad up ...R.I.P dad 1958_2014 keep on truckin
We all know that truck drivers work hard, but seriously they don't need you stalking them and interfering with what they do. I think McDonald's is hiring
This driver is full of it, no way he was able to drive a gas tanker the next day alone after getting his license at 18!! 1. You have to be 21, in the USA to drive a semi across state lines legally, not 18! 2. Minimum age for hazmat endorsement in the USA is also 21, not 18. 3. Even if you find a company to hire you to drive a tanker at 18 with 0 experience, which I doubt..... NO INSURANCE will insure you with zero experience driving a gas tanker, thats for sure!!!!!
Nothing better than blasting the beautiful sound of a jake over Bluetooth. Also hearing him run them gears. Chris you video this perfectly!!!!

I'd love to see an interview with a Farmers Oil truck, they look amazing! I know one of their fleet has a train horn!
I did 88M in the Army and that's ad far as my driving career goes but this is a beautiful master piece.
Nice, elegant and distinguished; not gaudy and tacky. Superb truck and a great video as always.

surprised Chris your chase vehicle hasn't been sponsored yet! looks pretty cramped with gear. great videos!

I think you should ask them drivers what oils they are using and what additives or not they have used. And this truck is really pretty :)
Been waiting to see a video of you on here Jay love seeing you on the road

Awesome videos, I love his channel. One question though how are the trucks having neon lights underneath? Arent those illegal in most places? especially red and blue colors?
They are legal on rigs.... However, if there are any of them not working, the D.O.T can write you up for it...depending on their mood.
I have red up under my truck and trailer and have never had any issues.......have heard you better not have blue tho......that's a "no no"......
My trailer has reds down. Red down and back only, is allowed, no red forward. No blue, period.
I love hauling fuel. It's the best thing in the world.
What do you like so much about hauling fuel?

You've got to take the stops out and then you'll just about be able to put the wheel on your lap

I need to do that because right now I feel like I’m driving a school bus with that wheel up so high.
