Here is the problem that the average shooter doesn't know and most pros don't talk about. It's matching the twist rate to the speed of the pellet. looser lower twist rate you want to shoot the pellet at its lower end of the velocity gap. With a higher and tighter twist rate, you can shoot the pellet at its maximum velocity gap, If one is amiss then it il never be super accurate. The Gunnar twist rate in .25 is 1:15 which is way too loose for a .25 cal pellet or slug that doesn't have enough bite. The .22 Gunnar is 1:24 which is a perfect test rate for pellets and slugs with plenty of bites. I would test the .22 it will shoot better. I wouldn't buy one because the AR Parts are cheap generic Luth-AR clones adjustable which don't sit well for me for that price. Could have at least put Hogue stock and grip on it.

I’m impressed with the look, and I have to say that I’ve been avoiding this rifle because of the looks. It feels great to hold and it’s light enough to carry. It looks much different in person. I chose to purchase this one because it checked all the boxes for what I intend for it, minus the look. I’m very happy with this air rifle

A wile back 4months ago I got a hold of a bad batch of JSB 25CAL pellets , 25GR AND 33GR lots of flyers out of my Brocock XR Sniper magnum 25cal and she is a tack driver out to 100yards !

Another great video , awesome review and presentation NATE I say you got the best reviews and awnest ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ , The fx pellets performed awsome in the Gunnar 25 cal , I here the 22cal is a real tack driver , when i finish modifying my air venturi avenger 22cal with a bottle modification adapter and a tactical chassi it's going to look just like the Gunnar with the Donyfl moderator, my air venturi avenger is a tack driver 75 yards nickel groups.

It's too bad Benjamin keeps relabeling these Kral rifles, especially considering how they broke open the PCP market with their great Marauder. They all have had the same problems here for years in Europe. When you buy them under the ''Kral'' brand some of these problems are acceptable since it's ''only'' a 5 or 6 hundred euro gun, but when it's a Benjamin it's a 1000 euros plus here in Europe. In my experience crosman/bengi guns like crosman/bengi ammo...think most manufacturers tune barrels around one pellet.
Thanks you just saved me 1k. My 25 avenger out shoots that thing any day with any pellet or slug, without modification. Just wait till I mod it.

Why did Crosman put a 3000psi fill on this regulated gun? 3000psi has been out for over 20 years. The Gauntlet 2 and the Avenger have 4300 psi fills for 1/2 the price. I can't imagine this gun selling well. Plus 44 foot pounds in 25cal is old school 20 years ago. My Maverick has 85 foot pounds in 25cal.

Cricket .22 semi is not out yet. They are expensive for a nice one. Leshiy 2 or SK19. The SK19 is worth it. Hatsan has a few, also AEA has some. Semi autos are never as accurate...unless it's an SK19 or L2.

On one of my rifles I had to test 30 different brands and weights to get an accurate pellet. There were only 4 or 5 out of the 30 that had good groups though only one had good groups at all different range distances.
You should try Benjamin pellets. Nice review as always.

I saw airgun detective with salesman who didn't really know the gunnar product. Disappointed with specs and no info on bolt or semi.
They should have went with a Green Mountain or a loather walther. Barrel. Its looks cool. I own a Fx impact no need for me to own that . 870 fps is where it needs to be for accuracy.

If you had $1000 budget and already have a decent scope, what rifle would you buy?
Used FX Dreamline or a Hatsan Factor RC or two Avengers
Hey. Quick question since the Factor was mentioned.... Would you go for a Factor RC or a Reximex Throne? They are similar sans the carbon tank on one but with a bullpup design.
I don't think the Reximix are regulated...never buy an unregulated gun over a regulated one. Also, a bullpup will be slightly hard to shoot accurately because they are just harder to hold still.
@@AirgunChannel Both are regulated. The Throne also has a big plenum and I can't find any info about one on the Factor. I'm deciding between these two Turkish rifles and I have watched your review about Factor at least 5 times now to make up my mind. 😁 I can't find either one in my country so I can't test them before purchase and I have to go based on reviews.

Hay Nate thanks for the review of the Benjamin Gunnar! As I said in another comment. It looks like Crosman has taken the "Euro Kral Puncher Jumbo" made a few changes and added $300+ on to the price for the Benjamin name and 5 year warranty. Not good! What do you think?
I think if I hadn't found the FX pellets I could have returned it and got my full $999 back...it shot that bad. You can't have 2 inchgroups on a 1000.00 rifle at 35 yards...you just can't in 2022. A Dreamlite is like $1200
@@AirgunChannel Your right about that. Maybe it's a barrel which needs 300 -500 pellets to broke in. I say sell it quick. Prices will probably depreciate quick.

FX pellets are made by JSB. Maybe you got one tin of the bad batches they produced
They are the select pellets from JSB...actual JSB pellets are not as good as FX.

you should try H&Ns. i own 2 benjamins the marauder and the armada. neither one really like jsb. H&N seem to fly a lot better.

Just don buy Benjamin, I have owned an Akela and a kratos and this doesn’t look like it’s worth anything near 1000 dollars. For a couple 100 dollars more you can get a way better gun !

I usually am impressed with your reviews but I must say this had a negative connotation at the start..
seemed hurried like you could hardly wait to get back in the house...I highly doubt you would have done a higher end air rifle with those kind of comments you made at the beginning like I'm sure you guys are going to click out before the accuracy test early before the accuracy test. and comparing it to a Hatsan..the rifle may have some issues but in my opinion you already had it in your mind not to give it a decent fair review...just my opinion. glad you haven't met my mother I'd hate to see what you'd say about her...
If I have to pay for a gun...your getting a review that highlights all the negative points about your gun. If you send me a gun, I will highlight the good points. A high end gun would not shoot like that...so it would have "qualified" for further testing. I see your point for sure...but that's the new deal on this channel. The manufacturers know who I am.If they want to participate in promoting thier product, I do great videos. I won't promote them for free.

Awesome review! I just made a video of a avenger where I deadened the stock shroud and fore grip with kinetic sand. It now shoots everything in one hole. Check it out on my channel it is a game changer for pellet picky!
