@5:03 thats a still image from the HBO series "Boardwalk Empire" set during Prohibition Era (1920s) the man in the middle is the actor Stephen Graham who played Al Capone, and the men on his left and right are actors who played the other 2 Capone Brothers. The photo was taken with a Digital Camera and not Nitrate Film, which is another give away. Like the @garyallen4486 said below: Be Careful witb the Research! 😊
Great pictures of the past. The 3 mobsters standing in front of a car are modern day actors. Sorry to spoil it but thought you'd like to know. Still a great image.
The Boy Scouts, at 1:35. Are you sure that's in Bedfordshire, as I don't remember Bedfordshire having mountains? And what's going on at 3:26, a car parked on top of 4 beds of nails?
The photo of 'three guys of Chicago mob, 1929' (5:04) looks like it's from Boardwalk empire, with Stephen Graham (centre ) playing the part of Al Capone. Unless I'm mistaken.
I really like and get pleasure from your videos. Thank you so much. Please, may Isuggest that you leave each picture on the screen for a slightly longer period of time. I think many of us are interested about what’s going on in the background also, and like to gaze at the characters/scenes. ❤❤❤
The British seaside scene, was the 15” gauge DMR-Dreamland Miniature Railway, Margate. Built in Rhyl in 1922, Billie survived the closure of the DMR and, after years of storage, returned to Rhyl Miniature Railway to celebrate his centenary in 2022. He is currently being restored, and should soon be back in steam.
Be careful with the research. The Essex golf club image does not have an English number plate. The three mob guys photo is actually from the film about the mob ‘Al Capone’.
"Three guys of the Chicago mob" at 5:02? Not hardly. Those are actors and the photo is contemporary. Dominck Lombardozzi (L) Steven Graham (middle). At 10:49 Istanbul Turkey, those guys are wearing Shriner hats and the car has Dealer plates (DLR).
Boardwalk Empire...it was a popular show on HBO in the 2010s set during Prohibition Era. Stephen Graham played Al Capone, and the men beside him.plaued the other Capone Brothers (I think there were like 4 or 5 Capone Brothers)
I find it interesting that the guests in the Neue Welt beer house drink ATLAS Special Brew, which was a beer from Chicago. Not impossible, but stands out. Almost like the guy want us to see it
Very enjoyable, but you have to be careful identifying years correctly when cars are involved. Classic car guys know every model and exactly what year it came out. I am not one, but I know generally what cars looked like in each decade, and there are a few mistakes here.
It’s just impossible for that nice Buick to be a 1923 model ! I would think 1940 would be closer. Also the Paris well known café is called “le dome” it is masculine. But nice vidéo just the same.
Is that a Nazi or 'Blackshirt' Member which is what they called Nazis before they gained power with his arms around those women in Leipzig Square First Day of Spring in Berlin 1930s? If only they knew what they were in for. The 1930s Polish family photo, as well 😢

You can pause each photo and zoom in for more details:)
Or slow your video speed down to 0.75 or 0.5
Yes, I DEFINITELY VOTE FOR THAT!! A little longer, PLEASE??
@@mediocremaiden8883. Wouldn’t have the foggiest of how to slow down the speed!!?

At 5:00 minutes that’s from a TV show called Boardwalk Empire. It’s Stephen Graham (AKA Al Capone) 😂

It's from Boardwalk Empire from HBO.
Al Capone was just a made up character. ( MAG BITTER TRUTH)
@@ursulasmith6402 I'm pretty sure Al Capone existed historically. He also had a severe case of Syphilis

I just came here to make the same comment haha!

Everybody very well dressed, elegant people, nowadays we see all degeneration.
7:12: Dont make me laugh! Listen to the Lou Reed song.
What does that mean?
Ladies in Sydney about 1920 didn't wear corsets anymore . It was probably taken about 1900's
09:30 LE dome
I had no idea the HBO series Boardwalk Empire was shot in 1920.
How did they manage without mobile phones? 🥴

Did anyone catch the picture of three actors from Boardwalk Empire?

brown shirts.. was the nickname
@pagodebregaeforro2803 Oh. Yeah that makes more sense.. Thanks 😊
Is this ai generated? Some pictures are total out of proportion?
The French looked different then where they had very round faces. I guess modernity has made peoples face narrower.
some of these are fake like the Al Capone photo at 0501
"ancestors" Lol. Grandparents
