    Wow that's a gem of a recording. I actually have two signed copies of the DSP&P book by Poor and the later supplement. Amazing to hear his voice and the voice of the C&S plow operator for the last run over Alpine.

    This was a simply amazing find. Thank you so much for sharing this. I have loved the Alpine Tunnel since I was a boy and hearing stories on recording of those who ran trains over the pass is priceless. It was also wonderful to hear Mr. Poor's voice for the first time.
