The German tech tree in War Thunder often gets a lot of captured vehicles as premium tanks, like the infamous KV-1B. The KV-1C is that but with a better cannon, turning it into a miniature Tiger tank.

yes water goes bad, just give it open air and stagnation for a few weeks, then microbes can grow ( though its pretty unlikely that this happens when its treated water with chlorine and other chemicals, which can delay this process, and are used commonly in tap water across the west) so in other words, you probably fine.

i heard you hate british vehicles, vehicles that do no damage and vehicles that are basically CAS magnets, so i think you should play the ratel 90; a gigantic british light tank with no armor, that only gets 90mm HEAT with a 7 second aced reload and that somehow always gets strafed by planes before it's even allowed to leave spawn (day 40)

12:58 Technically it does, there's gonna be like particles and airborne-germs entering the water, which does depend on the frequency of opening the bottle, but for the most part, you should be fine
Theoretically you should replace it everyday, at most every 2 days, while clean the bottle every week
For an environment like a plastic or metal bottle (without any rust), no it wont go bad. There is nothing for that bacteria to eat, so they wont survive longer than an hour or so. It might get a stale taste from absorption of the metal/plastic though.

@ 7:45 yes the back MG does indeed work, you just need to key bind it for it to work. Phlydaily made it work and even killed an enemy years ago..... though that was more to luck than it working as intended.

Fun fact: the 105mm cast turret of the KV-1C is only present on the german variant in-game, there is no soviet KV-1 with that turret
it could be so people don't confuse it for a Soviet tank in SB, but on the other hand there is the KV-1B which is almost identical to the KV-1E with the only difference being the camo.

Not to mention the German KV-1C has essentially no camouflages and will most of the time be yellow, so only an idiot would get confused.

Speaking of the M18, might I suggest giving it a look again? As the standard one in the US, Chinese, and Italian tech trees got a buff to their horsepower. It now stands at 460 horsepower, sadly the 'Back Cat' and Super Hellcat didn't get this buff.

It's like having a STUG III but with a turret
The fun thing with some if the weird mgs in the backs or sides of turrets is that despite being non functioning they still count towards repair time when broken

Attempt 10 Challenge: For high tier support a nations MBT with its respective APC/IFV counterpart (ie Abrams/Bradley, T90/BMP2M, etc.) Challenge is keeping the other player alive and supporting it without stealing kills (breaking barrels, tracking, repairing, etc) it being a random should help make it interesting.

I remember when this thing was 4.7, and for the longest time it was such a gigantic pain in the ass to deal with because it essentially had no flaws.
The KV-1 chassis is relatively fast for a heavy tank and is unfathomably hard to kill, and the medium 75mm could easily deal with most enemies with just a single shot. Thankfully, Gaijin finally listened to our complaints that it was basically just a German KV-85 and moved it to that BR accordingly.

Much respect for still playing this game, despite all it's issues. I guess it being your income as well helps, and you are entertaining. (I mean I gave up on the games frustrations ages ago, but still watch your content)

Edit.. Water can't go "bad" by itself normally, but will become a bit suss if the container it's in isn't the best. Some plastics will leach out bad stuff over time.
I'm on rainwater, and have to watch what the possums, birds and other various critters do to the roofs that collect my water... Just not worth thinking about sometimes.

Don’t know if you know this Spookston but the SMK has a MG in the back turret that works! It’s 12.7
You should play the m46 patton tank, its very good for getting into flanking positions with its 800 horsepower engine and 48 kh top speed.
The Ho Ri Productions barrel is invincible. 5 SABOT rounds from a 76mm T92 and it was barely yellow
I'd be interested to see Spookston play the M4A4 (SA50). Its one of my favorite French tanks and is has some amazing pen.
Attempt 9 of getting Spookston to play the XM1 GM its faster then most any tracked vehicle at its br range so its quite good at getting in to advantageous positions quite quickly how its armor is quite easy to pen for the constant uptiers it gets & m735 struggles to pen anything frontally in said uptiers as well none the less i think it would fit your playstyle well

BTR-152A sports 14.5mm machineguns. Using appropriate anti-ground belt, you get like 52mm of pen - enough to reliably damage most barrels.
You should play the sturer emil. That 230mm of pen at 4.3 is extremely funny
13:12 about the water, unknown water source, but im imagining fridge filtered tap water, may be time to replace the water filter, for instance the one for my fridge is good for 250 gallons. further, clean the container, water takes about 12 hrs to go "off" if its open to air. however a little backwash in a closed container may build up and give you "flavored water".
if its a plastic container, dont let sunlight hit it.

Hey spook, I believe you should try the Sturer Emil, it’s 128mm gun nukes anything and ignores the volumetric hell that is the KV-1 and T-34
The snail introduces volumetric to fix how ballistics works, effectively makes vehicles invulnerable if they are on the move/moving their turret and the round hits a rotating part....
