In my opinion chael is exactly right about the backup fighter. Equate this to any other job in the world and you’ll see what he’s saying. Backup fighters get paid even if they don’t fight. Even at 50k flat rate a fighter (which I’m just estimating on) that’s a pretty penny to just show up and make weight. However if you do by some crazy odds end up fighting you will get paid your normal contract purse as well as getting a title fight. Not to mention all the media mentions how “this guy was ready to fight either opponent”. It’s a win-win all around unless you’re a disliked fighter
Let me explain you Ariel, Khamzat is now a middleweight, which puts him out of equasion, Belal is uninteresting to public + Leon already outclassed him in that two rounds of a fight before the eye poke, and Gilbert really had a close fight with Khamzat but loss is a loss, plus his win agains Mavidal is worth less because Colby has beat him before, case closed

Yeah it's great for Monday afternoon
From now on Chael and Ariel have to do this once a week.
It's colby who doesn't want to fight khamzat .
Nevertheless Even if colby wins the belt burns, shavkhat, chimaev . Bro he can't even defend it once I am telling ya ....
Colby be calling out dustin porier after wining . Mark my words today ( cuz they trained in the same gym in the past and he probably knows that's the easiest fight )
Facts
chael is much smarter than ariel
What a Champ!! Class act!
Chael needs to be a regular on the MMA Hour
Great stuff guys
I don’t think Jones will have any interest at fighting Izzy. It does nothing for his legacy other than being called a bully. I don’t even think Izzy would have beaten DC at LHW or HW, what more about Jon.
Masvidal going to BKFC would be interesting however I still don't know if he will succeed there however it would be interesting
He already said he wouldn’t do that lol
Bkfc can’t afford him
he looked slow and sluggish against Burns. his time is definitely over. nothing to be ashamed of, he got a great career
His time is over. Much respect to him, he had a 500 career and made millions.
Chael is right on Burns. People don’t understand the way Burns was phrasing what he was saying.
