This is so Beautiful ...It actually hurts my Heart.
Yes very beautifull. Try paco de lucia
My Dad's favourite. ❤️
@@joneskhaled5374thank you.
It enters and touches my soul....
David Crosby died today, which got me thinking of great 20th century guitarists. He named his son Django, which reminded me I hadn’t listened to Him in a while. I then thought of Segovia of course which made me remember that this piece existed, truly a joy. It’s funny how memory works sometimes.
The most beautiful rendition I have heard of this peace. Great performance and atmosphere. I tear up from the first clarinet phrase every time
Melody 🎶 for life ever
I just reviewed a dozen videos of this song, including Joaquin Rodrigo with John Williams. This one with Tariq Harb on guitar is my favorite. He and the orchestra capture the magic of this delicate, passionate music. Congratulations, Tariq - you are a classical guitarist to the bone. I've played guitar onstage over 40 years.
This music has been going through my mind all day and I could not get it out of my mind I use to hear it all the time when I worked in California and had a half hour car commute. I even made up a little mental story of two lonely but very good people seeing a vision of each other and then meeting. The music is so filled with longings and love. Very beautiful.
It has all the pain of Spain in 39. Yet in its beauty it has hope. Part of his genius is the timeless quality of his music....
Absolutely beatufiful, makes me cry for unkonwn reason.
I am in love with this recording and listen to it repeatedly; it is so hauntingly lovely.
Absolutley Beautiful, and with such powerful emotions -----only spanish and other Latinos have the passion ,, but this Spanish classic is above all else , above all else !!!! Haunting always , but with such a power of Beauty and passion ,
Guitarist Tariq Harb performs a pure celestial melody that is somehow invisible to J. Rodrigo's composition's simplicity. It is charming, it transfers the spirit into the majestic fantasy!
How is it that every song from my childhood that I though was lost to time is right here preformed by this wonderful man? Thank you, Tariq ❤
This has to be my favorite by Joaquin Rodrigo and this performance of it is absolutely wonderful.
So beautiful.
One of my favourite pieces of music. So beautiful.
8 years later how about you hear it again ^^
@@hassaneljebyly4346bizarre comment.. I've loved it over 50 years.. most people who love a piece of beautiful evocative music will always love it
One of mine too.. for over 50 years..
It's amazing not only this orchestra's performance but also the melody of this music itself! It touches one so deeply that makes one's eyes quite wet.
A theme tune for humankind's memoir? why not. It could only emerge from the pure and tragic castilian soul. Majestic.
Absolutely! Thank you!
Yes.. the tragedies faced them, yet could only be understood by the pure and tragic soul of a black man. thus presented us Miles Davis.
Magnificent. It drew a tear or two of pure emotion. A rare moment nowadays.
Same heart is beating here brothers. Thank you.
Have always loved this.. reminds me of childhood holidays in Spain over 50 years ago..
Llega hasta el alma rota
I'm pretty sure Joaquin Rodrigo, the spanish composer, wrote this piece. It's the second movement of his Concierto de Aranjuez, written for guitar and orchestra. I strongly suggest to listen to the complete work, it's such a beautiful composition! :)
He wrote it for his wife after she had a miscarriage of a much wanted baby. The pain you hear is the pain of their loss. I cannot hear this without crying. He never sold the sheet music so each rendition is an arrangement of the original. He said it was too personal to sell.
@@mov4949I didn't know that.. 💔
A haunting beautiful melody 😢
الله عليك يا استاذ طارق بجد جميلة اوي .. .. تسلم ايدك
It is the best of classical music that dates back to the beginning of the century when rhythmic poetry goes hand in hand with the magic of chords and remote from the imagination of the notes recorded in the mystique of melody and gives rise to the passion of music. made a work of art of masters that is the touch of God in the heart of humanity
This, at least for me, is one of the most sublime pieces of music a mans mind could have ever written and it defies me what can inspire one to reach this kind of poetry.
It is truly a masterpiece.
Tariq Harb do you think it is tinged with sadness? For what? For that which makes him different? For experiences which never stay long enough?
So beautiful.
Even if you have no training in music this is an absolutely beautiful piece of music
Hopefully It and the talented musicians privileged to play it Will be appreciated
Que magica!

Always wonderful.
Amo essa música. Lindíssima. ❤
Da bist du nicht alleine. Nana Mouskouri sang es auch einmal. Mit freundlichen musikalischen Grüßen aus dem Saarland.
touch my soul... very wonderful
Thank you, I love this piece, it reaches deep inside you and pulls out all the humanity you possess and joins you with the whole of life that's common to all lifeforms on this earth and for a short time the killing of life to sustain life is forgotten, and the absolute importance of life itself is embraced and enemy and friend united with love for life, for its beauty and all within.
Such an Impressive piece of art
Fantastic!
Magnificent!

Teşekkür ederim!
If I could explain this music this moment, imposible.
Excellent👏👍☘
Also great in the movie brassed off with mostly brass, it's a bit more rousing but i like both, certainly worth a listen.
My favorite music when reading Cervantes' classic. Especially the last chapters.
Es una pieza más hermosa de la música. Una esencia pura de España y todo lo español. Me convierto emocional cada vez que escucho esta pieza. Me haría orgulloso de ser español si yo estaba.
Yes, true! Thank you very much!
BEATİFUL
nostalgia
Miles Davis has an interpretation of this on his album Sketches of Spain
Magnífico. Puedo ver la vela que se quema en la ventana de una antigua hacienda cuando el crepúsculo se asienta en las colinas.
Very special
brilliant performance Tariq, greetings from India
+Drina Biswas Thank you very much!
Love to hear an adaptation of this by Eric Clapton or Jimmy Paige.
TUĞÇE HOCAM SİZİ ÇOOOOKKK SEVİYORUM
Эта музыка невероятно прекрасна!
не могу вспомнить из какого фильма или мультфильма эта мелодия?
Da stimme ich zu. Nana Mouskouri sang es sogar
Its one of my favorite classical pieces.... heard it many years ago. you can read about it in link below...i have heard the theme incorporated into Arabic music. however since it is taken from an ancient melody it would no surprise me if it has both Moorish and Arabic musical influences in it as well as Spanish. Spain was not totally free from Arab rule from circa 700ad-1450ad. Spain up until around 1300 ad was a fine moment in History where Jews, Arabs and Christians got along like good neighbors should. When the Spanish aquired back most of Spain Jews and Muslims gave each other mutual aid against the Spanish Inquisition and mass deportments of Jews and Muslims....what i know for sure is that the arabic Oud, a quitar/lute like instrument went all the way back to Pharonic egypt. it probably is the mother of the quitar

Great insight here on this wonderful melody, John! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Stop spreading the Spanish Black Legend, the jews and muslims were expulsed by the Catholic Kings, the black myth of the Spanish Inquisition is just bullshit from Holland and England propaganda, there were only 2-3 real inquisitors per province according to Maria Elvira Roca Barea the Inquistion sentenced death to 1300 persons in 140 years. When Calvinism burned 500 persons in its first 20 years. You should read more about spanish history or read Cervantes literature to learn that there is no freedom inside the Islam.
the 4 dislikers should put this on loud volume and shut their eyes, and imagine! i did this at school today and it took me on a journey!
Harika
2008?!!! Dude, where you been hiding. hahaha :D
I LOVE YOU TUĞÇE TEACHER
I fell in love with this decades ago when it was first released...and it is such an emotional piece of music...but you should also check out the 'Brassed Off Rodrigo's. version . It is set in a film with a brass band playing...to me even MORE emotional because the setting is when political strife ruled the UK when the government laid off the coal miners. Check it out please....and enjoy!
🙋♀️❤️🙏
how to download this video?
μαγεία .!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wonderfull interpretation and fantastic play, ofcourse five here from me (d like to give 10 but there are only five :-))
alguien sabe el nombre de la guitarra que utilizó?
Is a recording of this performance available anywhere?
There was a DVD of this concert but I think it got discontinued.
stanf ah...right here.
John Doe Right! Why didn't I think of that!
Wonderful - This is my favourite version of this piece of music. If you want to hear my version check Rodrego Guitar Concerto by Frank Curry. (Sorry it was uploaded with the wrong spelling) - I am not a musician - just tried it on my keyboards. Of course it is no comparison to this wonderful rendition.
Thanks, Frank! Glad you enjoyed! :)
Many thanks for reply Tariq - Hope you see my version and comment. I know mine is not played correctly and I can"t read music but have an ear for music I think. That"s my daughter with the horse. Many Thanks.
I'm sure it is😃
A balm to the absolute mayhem and destruction we are now witnessing 😪
Maybe a musical “Heavenly Passport” 😇
Wich song?
just 16707 views for this masterpiece :/
I believe Rodriguez was blind when he wrote this piece of beautiful music ♥️
HolyAngemon appears :')
