    I *DO* appreciate that the title of the video is "United States Distance Championship", and that you guys don't use (or like) metric units. But the fact of the matter is that for 95% of the world's population (7,450,000,000 people), feet are things which are attached to legs, and nothing more.
    Did you intentionally avoid using metric measurements to make this video meaningless for us?

    can someone help me understand why there would be OB if you are going for true distance? Choosing the type and height of OB - all seems to factor in. It seems if you are measuring the furthest throwers, why be punitive for accuracy?

    • @Thomasstearns42
      @Thomasstearns42 Год назад +2

      Because accuracy is part of it. They do the same in ball golf distance contest.

      Net Daddy, this was the best location at this event. Not ideal but it makes for good drama. Wiggins is winning on an open field anyway

      @@coach_chris_taylor I really like the format, I'd say funnel the distance, and implement a point system, OBs deduct points. All of these competitors can easily bomb, the idea should be who can throw the best distance shot with accuracy.

    Dudes....... 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 On Anthony's 3rd throw, that hit the tree? Any word on an at least ball park estimation on what that probably woulda done?? Cuz his 4th went 685 and his 3rd looked pretty clear that it was goin 50ish+ further than that one....

    Very new to watching the sport, this might be a silly question but why the generator for a prize? Seems a bit obscure, I can’t think why that’d be useful for a player 😂
