Hello, The puppy dogs are so cute!!! The second one is even cuter. The squirrel and the bird. So adorable!! I have not worked on those types of canvases before but I am eagar to see how well they will come out. They are both very cute and I would have a tough time choosing which one to start too. I have heard that Joy Sunday is a good company. I have not done any of their kits though. Thanks for the video Grace. Always nice to see what you have picked out to work on. I hope you have a good day and I will chat with you soon.
Hi Karen!!! These types of kit are so easy to work on!! I am really enjoying working on the puppies right now. I have been wanting to try these types of kits, and I am so happy I did!! Joy Sunday and Spring are both great brands from what I can see of these two. Look forward to chatting, have a great weekend!!
Thank you so much for your kind words, Barbara! I am really enjoying doing this stamped cross stitch, as it's so much easier than counted cross stitch 😊
Nice. I've never seen stamped cross stitch like that. It was always blue X on linens like pillow case edges and baby quilts you basically embroidered the Xs with floss to the pattern they gave. .it wasn't anything like you have where a cross stitch picture was stamped onto fabric like that.
I’ve actually done some counted cross stitch, many years ago. Kind of got into to complicated of projects, so the counting got harder and so I fell of from doing it. I’ve obtained a couple kits that are stamped cross stitch, which I’ve never done either. Have no clue when, or if, I will start one. I’ve not figured out yet, how you can easily pull out the threads you need, from the the card they put them on, doesn’t seem easy to me. Makes me think I should go through and put them on there own cards, like I use to do. 🤷🤷. They sure have a lot to choose from on this website.
I know what you mean about getting counted cross stitch that gets really tricky!! The counting and back-stitching gets crazy!! I am loving this stamped cross stitch, and I just put up a video showing how I pull one strand of floss out at a time without ever taking them off of the floss card. Maybe if you watch it, you can understand how I do it - it's really easy. There really are a lot to choose from, and I am enjoying working on the puppy one now!
@@gbmaltese yes, I watched that as well. It might work well enough, just loop the extra back in the hole, without having to come up with a different method of working with the floss.
