We didn’t go on our February trip, but we did in 2021 and they all came to our tables a couple of times, but that’s when you had to do distanced selfies. So they stood behind the kids but didn’t hug them.
@@AddictedtotheMouse Both my son and I love the shirts, just waiting for the UK to warm up enough to be able to wear them (And waiting for the School term to end, RSVLT shirts are not really in the teachers dress code :).
Chef Mickey's is a right of passage when vacationing at WDW!!!! We have dined there many times for both Breakfast and Dinner when our 2 Daughters were young and back again with our 4 Grandkids!!!! The food takes a back seat to meeting the Fab 5!! Chef Mickey's is a must do experience at least once!!
Another great video! We just visited Chef Mickey's in April. It was my granddaughter's first meal at Walt Disney World, carrying on a family tradition. It looks like they rotate who you meet after dinner. For us it was Mickey. I saw another vlog in which it was Minnie. I agree with you. I believe they are having the post meal meet and greet to turn the tables faster.
We were there for brunch in February. I thought the food was great. But the best part was the wonderful Mickey who made our 4 year old grandson feel very special’
Back before COVID, Pluto would greet guests BEFORE you were seated. That’s when you got your official Chef Mickey photo. We had that experience 2 times between 2014 and 2018. So that makes sense to how they are doing it now with meeting Minnie at the END of the meal. Same concept. Meet one individually and the other 4 during your meal.
Never, EVER! We went to Chef Mickey’s way back when it was in Downtown Disney and that was wonderful (wasn’t everything?). But the way it has been since moving to the lobby of the Contemporary… From Start to finish: Never. No way. But y’all are troopers for giving us the review.😁
How are you all picking the order of the restaurants your going to? Random or just restaurants you want to try? Just wanted to know. Love the dinning series!!
Combination of most popular, what reservations are available, what we feel like eating, and spreading out the locations (don’t want to review all Disney Springs locations in a row)
Wouldn't it be great if there was a character meal for adults only? LOL, I wonder if it would be a tad bit less chaotic. Or perhaps even worse! I have ADrs there next week, but keep going back and forth with it. Last September when we were there, they had Mickey around the corner. And that was right before the buffets returned. I definitely think it's a time issue,. They cant get to all five to the tables whilst turning tables every 45 min
@@AddictedtotheMouse I’m only going because my son is two and obsessed with Mickey. I’m not expecting much food wise . I was just curious if one was better then the other
I’m really curious if my autistic 6 year old son will like Chef Mickeys 🤔 I like all the options CM has to offer because he’s such a picky eater. Thanks for the review!
We’ve just discovered your account and really like the content. A really cool thing would be if you guys said the price that you think it really should be. For example, you seemed to be very disappointed in Takumi-Tei’s food for the price. What do you think it should have been? 😄
I have wonderful memories of Chef Mickey with my kids, but they are in their 20s now, and it’s not the experience we want when we go to WDW. It’s a very special place for young families, but it’s not worth the price for us now.
We ate there in August of 2022. Food was awful. I wouldn't pay to eat there again. Really, we only went there so my sister's kids could meet the Disney characters and get autographs.

I can’t believe that Dan is wearing the same shirt I ordered only yesterday - great taste 😊
Love RSVLTS

Fun!
Have not been to Chef Mickey's for a long time.....grands were very young....all 10 of us.....character interaction was great.....food was okay
That sound Dan made when Leslie said the price... Yeah.... Same here man!
😂
Always great videos!!!!!

Interesting, they didn’t do it that way with us when we ate there precovid 🤷♂️

Leslie - where are the Donald ears from?!! If you mentioned it, I wasn't paying attention! lol Love them!!
I made them 💛🤍💙
@@AddictedtotheMouse Amazing job! Do you happen to sell ears?
@@laurenporter109 no, I’m too type A and probably wouldn’t ever get any out the door because I would always find something wrong with them.
Your son did a great job
I love Thursdays for these reviews. Do y’all have an idea for other food reviews when you finish the Disney list?
Oh yes, lots 🤗. Don’t plan on stopping these any time soon

You’re probably right
Is it better for breakfast or dinner?
Hmm, we prefer bfast. But neither meal is what you would consider fine dining

Chef Mickey's price/experience are reason #87 as to why I go to Topolino's Terrace for its character breakfast,
It is definitely a better overall experience

I haven't been to Chef Mickey's in years, the food was really terrible. It was one and done for me. O'hana character breakfast is my favorite.

That’s the main reason anyone should go here
