I recently bought an amara 20 and when I try to use rulers the machine doesn’t want to move along the ruler. It feels stuck. Am i doing something wrong
If you don't have Pro-Stitcher like you mentioned, it is generally that you are putting too much pressure pushing down on the ruler. That pinches the fabric between the ruler and the base which makes it difficult to move the machine smoothly. Try relaxing the downward pressure a little and see if that helps!

Are you putting too much pressure on the ruler?
If your machine has Pro Stitcher be sure to disengage the gears.
It is not a pro stitcher and I didn’t feel like I was putting a lot of pressure on it. I’ll have to give it another try
Fantastic ideas to try, you both are very talented. Thanks for sharing 👍❤️🙂
