I am so excited for you guys starting the BTS journey. You are going to be blown away by these guys. BTS is made up of 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. First, don't try to remember these guys by hair colors, they change them ALL the time. They debuted in 2013 and they literally changed the game in KPop. Just know that Real BTS ARMY (because there are fake ones out there that like to be rude so the Fandom looks bad) will guide you with gentle hands and loving hearts. We understand tastes in music are different and you may not like some of what they do, but as long as you are honest and throw no personal shade at the members, ARMY will Not attack you. Ignore the haters and enjoy the ride.
Great reaction :) DNA was my intro song to BTS so it’s special to me. Also Kpop does not necessarily mean pop music, pretty much every genre is encompassed in Kpop. It’s just Korean popular music, BTS has many many different genres with their roots being in hip hop

Calling it now, y'all are gonna love this group. Songs to start off with: - ON (Kinetic manifesto film) - Black Swan - Blood Sweat and Tears - Fake Love - Mic Drop (Steve Aoki Remix) I genuinely think you guys would ADORE this group. BTS have definitely carved out a part of the world for themselves, they are all genuinely so talented its mind blowing. In all honestly there is no sole member that stands out over the others, they're all actually very evenly split. They're all multitalented, and have solo ventures while still being part of BTS. Like all the rappers have their own mixtapes they've released, the vocalists have all had solo singles that have been part of BTS' album or just dropped on their own. They all have their own expertise within performance and songwriting that kinda allows for them to excel in the way they have. The NPR Tiny Desk is a good video just to see their vocals and the group dynamic (they have 3 rappers and 4 vocalists), or their 2021 live room Festa, which was kind of a medley of their songs from their first album to their latest. Just snippets but it was cool

DNA is the song that introduced BTS to the US and billboard. They performed this on the BBMA and the celebrities were blown away by all of the ARMY who attended. You should watch that performance to just look at the stars’ faces.
I betcha $100 u guys have heard one of their English songs Butter, Permission to Dance or Dynamite on the radio or in a store but you just didn't know it wad their song. LOTS of people think the songs are by Maroon 5 or something and are shocked.
A most of the fits for the BTS DNA MV were from Gucci and St. Laurent, and yes me and my brothers would rock those fits. It takes confidence and a (bunch of money) to wear all those fits/colors. 😂

The fact that this song happens to be more in the pop genre, that is not why it's called K-pop. K-pop is not a genre. K-Pop is a western label put on popular Korean music which includes many different genres. It's a mistake many people new to K-pop make. It usually takes them two to three days to film with the members on the set. Of course the post-production CGI effects take more time.
