I would like to thank you for doing videos of the tractor pull from chatham Va . it great to see. Video from pulls like that. U do a great job keep up the good work Robert Shrawder of Danville pa I am a subscriber to ur u tube channel n d a tractor puller
ive pulled my jd A many times, ive always done better in 1st gear. these tractors are torque MONSTERS. not high hp machines! i cant believe everybody is running in 2nd or 3rd gear ?!?!
Those things must have some kind of torque. None of them run out of power they just eventually spin out. What kind of engine mods do they have? I have a 39 B but it sure don't pull like that even with a fresh engine rebuild.
Even tractor pulling has been ruined by men insisting on making it complicated! 5 mph limit ridiculous! Just get a stone boat and some barrels full of cement! (You can send me the money you wasted on the transfer sled.) Dead weight pull they call that!
Love these old 2 bangers.
Love the sound of a two cylinder under a load.
Yes. Those tractors can flat out keep lugging!
Over 16 minutes of John Deeres! Thank-You, Thank-You, Thank-You
Now explain how you came to the title "Battle of The Brands"
The Battle of the brands was broke down between 2 cyl., 4cyl, and 6 cyl classes then the top finishers went to the finals of the Battle Of The Brands.
Thanks for watching

I am relatively new to the Antique pulling scene so I couldn't tell you much about the modifications
Big bore, high compression, alcohol, big cam, big valves, stroker crank. Some have more
It says battle of the brands but all tractors shown were John Deere??? Technically not a battle of the brands
Yes but they called it that. It was a lead up to a 2cyl, vs 4cyl vs 6cyl. This obviously was the 2 cyl division
