@CheapRiotPoints what do you know about it? do you know different heroes have varying turn rates? It adds more character and nuance to the heroes. Makes sense that a slow lumbering tank would turn slower than a mobile spellcaster. how much dota have you played to understand the nuances of turn rates, to decide its a mechanic that shouldn't exist? Do you think dota would be better if there were no turn rate? the game is built around turn rate existing, if you took away turn rate you would have to rework the whole game. Saying that turn rate is an inherently bad mechanic is just as dumb as if i said all mobas need turn rates. Turn rate works for dota, no turn rate works for league. different games.
he really felt the essence of dota in that game. tough comeback outplay of the counterpick, double carry feeder noob team. 2 catcher initiators, 1 unkillable spacecreator and 2 adc carrys on an enemy team. he really is in hidden pool.
Dota 2 is so fun. The items and stat system allow flexible play styles unlike league. When I went over to league from dota my biggest issue with league was the boring ass items. Literally every item in Dota is cooler than league items.
League has more interesting mechanics on champions though. At least I like skill shots way more than point and click. Just imagine putting Yassuo or ksante into Dota... 9/10 people will break their keyboard.
@@KaiReel23 nah, league and mobilelegends have same feelin about heroes mechanic. Its more fun that dota ofc. Cus most of their hroes have more escape/ high mobilty rather than heroes in dota. That why i say it, dota bcme more like leage now cus valve adding more heroes w high mobilty abilty heroes, like league. Its fun however
@@medusagglast hero that has been added was muerta which doesnt have mobility. Bro dont say dota becoming league since hon is the only who comes close to dota mechanics. Also why in league the jg a whole role it's bad when they supposed to be a roaming aggro support, but we have hyper carries in a role that have safetest farm. I like dota more but played league more caue my friends attracted to the paint rather than the quality but league for sure sht when we get into actual gameplay loop it mainly a one man show and when u not the main star it feels like sht unlike dota where I can never say my game over 5 mins in like league.
I love your chat, DOTA IS HHARD LOL IS EASY, DOTA CHESS LEAGUE TIC TActOE, LEAGUE IS HARDER NEED BETTER REActioN time like bru guys, those are both video games that are not chess, if you play a lil bit of dota you ill learn it, same with league, dota2 has bigger learning ceiling though, there is a point in league where you know everything about the game and just improve your mechanics, in Dota you always learn something stupid or something new, even after 10k hours played, thats the only difference between these games.
I really don't see how "Dota is harder" is an argument for Dota. Above Platinum, league players already improve only marginally in mechanical aspects and mainly in other gameplay elements. I feel like there's this unspoken belief of Dota-players, that if they are in the bottom 50% of Dota players, they'd be in the top 20% of league players, when I'd argue the skill-distribution would roughly translate 1:1. There'd be an argument that the top ~5% of Dota players profited from more (complex) gameplay elements, but the rest of players are simply jack of all trades, master of none. The more skills you have to hone, the less you improve them individually. I don't see what you gain from a more complex game, aside from boasting that you play a more complex game. League is also way more polished and visually appealing. I feel like Dota players are coping in this regard and have a vague notion of being more of a "gamer" or even "man" by not being swayed by such lowly game aspects. Mobas are like religions. Whichever camp you were first exposed to, is the one you are most likely to stick with... Though I can't say I'm sad I fell in this camp.
So basically, dota complexity comes from flexibility on team comps(heroes aren’t locked on one role),itemization (a lot of item are usable and not just stat sticks), team coordination (map control wards smoke tp usage), spell casting and layering, long team fights makes plenty of crucial decisions making (from using bkb early refreshing cds with refresher orb buybacks) and plenty more.
League complexity comes mostly from skill shots(almost all of them has one), baron/dragon set ups(everyone has 2 wards and a control wards +3 more from sups), lane management(lane freezing, slow push, ping pong), summoner spells ( using them properly), free base recalls(no couriers) means need to trade properly and many more
If we’re talking about how the games are polished, at first you might think league has the upper hand. Perhaps league is more pleasing on the eyes and more whimsical. But dota client far surpass most videos games. The replay system is god tier, you can watch pros in their ranked matches with small delay, control groups from the dota 1 era is refined. Testing heroes from demo mode is a very good way to test everything ( from hero combos to itemization, damage calculations).
