    thank you so much, i immediately subscribed to your channel! i'm taking an accounting course and while the professor isn't bad at explaining i think the university just put wayyy too much material into one course so she doesn't have the time to explain things in depth or answer many questions D: most of my other textbooks are usually only 200-400 pages but my accounting one has 700+ not including a bunch of extra practice questions/material 😭

    machine costing $210,000 with 4 years life an estimated salvage value of $20,000 is
    installed in Calus Co.'s factory on January 1. The factory manager estimated the machine
    will produce the
    following units:
    Year 1: 121,400 units.
    Year 2: 122,400 units.
    Year 3: 119,600 units.
    Total = 363,400
    Required:
    Compute depreciation expense for the first three years under the following methods:
    Straight-line.
    Units-of-production.
    Double-declining-balance.

      Hi Serik, it wasn't 17 miles. It was $0.17 per mile. That is your depreciation rate per mile driven :)
