What a great game. Rarely seen two teams that were so evenly matched. And both teams with great attacking football, such an exiting match! IMO germany deserved it a tiny bit more, because they were the better team between min 70 and 118 but in the end theres always a bit of luck involved.
- Nagelsmann got his starting line-up wrong, but corrected it with his subs.
de la Fuente got his starting line-up right, but messed it up with his subs.
- Kroos should have received 3-4 yellows
- Fullkrug golden chance at the end.
- Cucurella has held it together pretty well all tournament, but was badly found out in the second half and during the extras this match.
It's good for Germany, it's a good thing they were eliminated, it's not like they have to deal with Türkiye, Spain fucks Germany like that

Yes I am German and I am devastated...it was an incredibly dramatic game, the game being this close makes the loss even more bitter. Spain could have had the world coup for all I care but we needed this home cup win....Germany loosing basically by bad luck didn't just end the first time in 8 years of Germans actually caring about football, but also means that this game ended the career of three legends, Kross, Müller and Neuer ! It's unfortunate that their Career didn't end with a beautiful euphoric win of the home cup....a dream was lost today

Opta analyst states xgoals Germany 2,01, Spain 1,5…. Germany clearly had the better chances…. I’m wondering what game most of the people in the comments watched… however, i’m wondering why it seems to be so difficult to make clear rules in regard of handball… like how could this not be a penalty when there were at least 3 other penalties given in the Euro for less of a handball? I understand Cucurella doesn’t use his hand on purpose and the shot was taken from short distance, but he clearly prevented a clear chance for a goal… like, why is the referee not even taking the chance to go and watch the scene again… also Nacho’s and Carvajal‘s behaviour is a disgrace…
Because, unlike the other situations, his arm was in a natural position. In the pre-tournament briefing, Roberto Rosetti, UEFA's head of referees, gave specific examples of handball penalties. Rosetti showed a clip of the ball hitting a defender's arm which was in a vertical position, close to the body. He said this should not be a penalty and if the arm is close to the body, and not extended to create what could be deemed a barrier, this should not be punished. That's the reason why, if you saw the game, you also saw Taylor making the motion of putting his arms close to his body when questioned by the German players.
Congratulations to Spain the best team in the tournament. All those crying tears for a nonsense handball, Kroos should have been sent out in the first half but he wasn’t thanks to the rubbish English referee.
You could certainly tell the referee was from the EPL.
Kroos is smart and wouldn't risk a red card and Germany had more chances and deserved more to win it!

The ref was clearly on Spain's side ...the Spanish team was so dramatic the whole time (especially nacho) and played way more fouls then the German team also delayed severely after the 1:0 every chance they got ...Germany received yellow cards for every minor digression ... Im comparison when Germans were injured on the ground the ref didn't even stop the game / care ....then there is also the handball situation that would have 100 percent been a goal if it wasn't blocked by the hand ....should be a penalty just to give back the chance to make the goal which would have been rightfully theirs

Hay que saber perder y tú no sabes encajarlo. Si hablamos de errores del árbitro a Toni Kroos le perdonó 2 amarillas muy claras, en una de ellas lesionó a Pedri. Por tanto si críticas el árbitro hazlo con honradez. España no podía jugar de otra forma, Alemania jugaba en su casa y con el público a favor.
