Because this happens, please please please go visit your doctor and request for an Epi pen and have it on you at all times. Because you can have these symptoms you can have an airway obstruction. Agree. I had an anaphylactic shock 2 day's before Thanksgiving and my lips swelled up like Julia’s and I couldn't talk. My husband ended up taking me to the
ER and I had allergic reaction to one of my medications for my high blood pressure. It took 2 day's for the swelling to go away. I ended up throwing away that medication and immediately called my doctor (text her) to let her know what had happened.
Now, I have to start a new medication.
Also, see if you are allergic to peanuts or nuts because I was allergic to peanuts & nuts and my lips swelled up really bad after I had Chinese food. They had used peanut oil... Have a food allergy test done for everything that way you will know exactly what you are allergic too!

Commenting here … my husband has this condition. It’s called angiodema. It started after he ate a seafood bucket years ago in Thailand. His doctor recommended taking fexofenadine (over the counter) daily to keep it at bay and it’s helped!
This is a favorite video for me. All of them truthfully but the fact that Julia had a reaction or whatever happened to her poor lips and for her to share about it is a raw and real as you can get. Julia, your hair is EVERYTHING! It is so sophisticated, yet edgy and I am loving it! Also, my husband and I have been doing carnivore diet since August and it has changed our lives! It's do fascinating learning about how our bodies process fiber, carbs, & sugars vs. protein & fat. I also read the book "Carnivore Diet" by Shawn Baker and it was very insightful if you are interested in more info. My skin has also completely transformed. I was breaking out constantly and I never had clear skin and ever since going carnivore, my skin is the best it has ever looked. The diet may not be for everyone, but it is the best decision I have ever made for my health & fitness 💯

I gave birth in March and also developed random hives postpartum! One day in June I started getting itchy on my hands and developed hives all over and that’s when I said enough and booked myself an appointment with an allergist. She said random hives could be hormones adjusting itself. She also did an allergy panel on me and came to find out that all of a sudden ( postpartum) I’m now allergic to shellfish! ( Which is so sad because I love seafood) That day when I had hives on my hands I did have some crab. She prescribed me an epi pen and now I have to carry that around with me at all times 😭 gotta love postpartum lol
I would recommend going to an allergist! I think it could have been shrimp that you had! Hope you feel better Julia.
Aww poor Julia !! Hunter’s face has me in tears! I think the best videos of all times are the ones where you have been able to sit in front of the camera and just be vulnerable along with share realistic and relatable life experiences especially at the texas and previous nashville house!! You both would cook lunch/dinner and set up the camera at the table and just sit and talk to us as if it was a facetime call. Also, I miss when you guys would walk goose around your neighborhood in texas and you would film them or when Julia would do the OG home goods hauls and goose would sit near Julia while she would go over everything she bought at the texas house! 🥺❤️ Love you guys !! I gotta say my all time fave tho is when you started sharing f45 because I myself struggled getting myself to workout (and I was a D1 athlete throughout college). I feel similar to you in that I was focusing more on how it made me look than focusing on my overall health. I struggled from anxiety after graduating college and transitioning from being a full time athlete to a new career I had no passion for. Going to f45 made it fun for me again, and it’s literally my therapy. I started a career in interior design this year and made my way up to interior design manager in a short 11 months. Again, I have YOU to thank for helping me tap into that creative side 🤍🥰✨

LOVED Hunter’s reaction to the cut, it’s a sexy one! Also, I developed an allergy to alcohol after I gave birth. And wine is especially bad and that sucks bc I LOVE it (but it’s the Ethanol, acetaldehyde i think) so hormone changes can cause allergy trigger. Maybe going to an allergy clinic and getting a complete panel test? When he said your lips looked like the ying-yang sign this emoji came to mind 🥴 (I mean that in the most lighthearted way lol😜)

Oh no the lips that happened to me one time when I was in Miami. My lips just swelled up so fast I was so embarrassed I was at a nightclub. One of my favorite videos of you all was during the beginning of the Black Lives Matter movement I loved how you all took time to talk about what was going on and educate yourselves on what what going on outside of you community. Julia, my husband had the same allergic reaction with his lips when visiting certain restaurants. We finally were able to find out that it was when he wiped his mouth with the restaurants cloth napkin which is cleaned with very concentrated bleach that he was allergic to. He now asks for paper napkins when he goes to restaurants and it never happened again. Take care!
