  • HOW to CROCHET SIDEWAYS BLANKET BORDER EDGING - Easy and Simple Crochet Tutorial from Naztazia
    Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. In this video, I'll show you how to crochet the sideways blanket border edging using single crochet stitches. This works up fast and easy and is simple to do.
    The pattern consists mostly of chains and single crochet stitches. You can adjust the size of the blanket's border too by making more or less chains for your starting chain.
    You can use any weight yarn and its suggested crochet hook with this pattern.
    You can find more information on this pattern at:
    naztazia.com/c...
    Did you know I have a newsletter? I send an email out just once a week, usually on a Wednesday, announcing my latest pattern and video. You can get more info here:

    I wanna make sure I got this right. It looks like u slst into one stitch and then started your sc in the next stitch (this being the base going around) and when u got back around u made your corner into the same stitch that you made the slst and then slst into the first sc to join. I’m still new to borders and I really want to get this down.

    • @naztazia
      @naztazia  2 года назад

      It's more of a personal taste thing. My photo sample at the very beginning and very end is 10 chains and 9 single crochet stitches. To me, that's an average-sized border on an average-sized blanket. I could see it being 20 chains too, and still look nice.

      Are you talking about one of my patterns? Or someone else's? Because with my method shown in the video, you can make this as wide of a border as you want. There shouldn't be any ruffle involved.
