    Suggested by ‪@BetamaxKing‬ that i release this, i did the "remaster" a few months ago.
    This is the song Fantasy by Helen Christie.
    *Originally meant to be the theme song to 1985's The Care Bears Movie, this song was rejected in favor of Care-A-Lot by Carole King, though the song appears on the German soundtrack of the film with the single being released in 1986.
    Because this relates to Care Bears in some way, shape or form, i "remastered" the song as a result.
    I hope you enjoy.
    **While it's hard to get lyrics to songs with no available lyrics online, i did manage to listen to the song and attempt to interpret the lyrics with at least 95% accuracy. *PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG IN THE COMMENTS!
    LYRICS:
    Hearts, can be strong
    and hearts can ache,
    hearts can turn to stone,
    or break
    and to never mend together,
    Hearts, can forgive
    and can deny,
    hearts can hurt and
    hearts can cry,
    make your dreams come true,
    change the world into
    a land called fantasy,
    fantasy, believe in fantasy,
    share your dream with me
    and tell me what you see,
    in the mirror of your feelings,
    let it be,
    give in to fantasy,
    love is everywhere,
    let it show you care,
    and i've gone to find a place for,
    you and me
    Hearts, sometimes yearn to learn to fly,
    sometimes burning like a fire,
    hearts want to live forever,
    Hearts, sometimes bold and
    sometimes shy,
    hearts can play and
    hearts can try,
    hearts can fly away
    on the rainbows way
    to re-reach fantasy,
    fantasy, believe in fantasy,
    share your dream with me
    and tell me what you see,
    in the mirror of your feelings,
    let it be,
    give in to fantasy,
    love is everywhere,
    let it show you care,
    and i've gone to find a place for,
    you and me
    fantasy, give in to fantasy,
    love is everywhere,
    let it show you care,
    and i've gone to find a place for,
    you and me

    Can you imagine how long I've been searching for this song? 20 years ago I finally found someone who made an mp3 from the german TV recording on VHS. Unfortunately I forgot her name and the mail account. And now I finally know the name of the artist! Thanks so much to both of you!

    It does have that Neverending Story vibe. Good song.

    This song would appear in the uncut/extended version of The Care Bears Movie (1985).

    That was used for the german ending credit song of the first care bears movie.

      Interesting, i see this work being played during the credits. The fact the German version has it makes the song not seem useless.(idk if it's sung in English or in German in that version, maybe depended on region)

      @@CJBakerofficial I am not sure if it was only in the german version It stuck out to me as a kid, because it was the only song that was in english, when every other song in the movie was dubbed in german. It did not make very much sense to change the endsong to an english title only in germany, but dub over all the original english songs, so i assume it was used in other european countries, too.
      It is quite rare knowledge nowadays that this song was ever used for the credits, because all the german releases and newer screenings feature the american master of the film wich ends with another credit scene that only reapeats the intro song. You have to dig up a private VHS recording from the very first TV screenings to see it.
      I searched for this song for quite a time until i found it a year or so, ago. Of course i always searched for "hearts", since i long forgot the proper title. 😅
      I'm very pleased that my info was somehow helpful.

      @@holladiewaldfee6071 The song was originally recorded in English, though Helen Christie is a German singer (not much info about her, but interesting if you look into it deep enough). The song was released as a single (vinyl) in 1986, which is how this song is available on YT in the first place through other uploads of the song. I just took (what IMO was the best quality) and "remastered" what's presented here.
