That happened to me just now and i called jbl tech support, they just let me press the power button until thebunit turns off. Then turn it on again and it will work again👍🏻
I tried plugging it in to the outlet, but got nothing.. I held on too all the combinations that were suggested for at least 30 seconds and got no response from them. I just had to wait until the battery completely drained. We had to leave the house, but it would not be ideal if it were the main music for an event.. hopefully it doesn't happen again.
I wouldn't recommend plugging any JBL partybox into a TV because I tried this with my 710 and it literally started to panning the sound very quickly almost sound like it was clipping. I think JBL design the party boxes for parties and get-togethers not as a soundbar thus the name party box. They even don't even have a radio built-in not even the big ones.
My on the go is about a month old I have the same issue. Tried the combos nothing worked. It indicates the battery is full, but when I unplug it. It shuts off right away.
It happened to me. And I did fixed the issue.

Hold the power button down for 30 seconds and it should reset. It might take 60 seconds but hold it down until it resets

the mother board got to much voltage and it my be shortet in side i had the same issue
