Don’t label it a dream, because dreams aren’t real. These are reality, and if me you and anyone else can just reach out and take the opportunities that are presented these acts wouldn’t seem to be some far fetched fantasy.
I like the fact that his family didn’t excepted to take care of them. He wanted to take care of them. It’s all about hard work. I know some family’s is money hungry but it’s nice to see this family doing it right because Aaron Donald wants to take care of his parents.
One of the Rare times that a player signs a Contract & lives up to the same year. I rarely see someone sign a new contract & contribute even more the same year.
I watched the Rams play Denver this year at Mile High and watched A.D. on defense most of the time...dude never took a play off once, and they could have called holding on the o-lineman about every play he's so hard to block.
shout out to real black dads putting in work and not demanding anything from their kids. You could tell aaron wanted to help, as opposed to feeling compelled to help.
@@aaronandvicky7652 This is true that there is a epidemic of fatherless across the board, however, there is dire need Black manhood to be modeled in front of young black boys which is rarely seen
To put up those numbers from the interior position is just insane. I played interior dline in high school and it was literally impossible to get a sack from that position because you would constantly get doubled on the inside. Always ended up getting pancaked instead lmao...
I did too! I tell people this shit all the time its hard for D tackles to get sacks because most offensive blocking schemes call for the D tackle to be double teamed. that's why a d tackle can go to the pro bowl with 8 sacks if he has a lot of tackles and tackles for loss
Bruh this comment would be the same as if I went to a comedy short and said “The comedians timing and delivery were just perfect. I can tell you as someone who finds themselves funny that it isn’t always easy to get both right.”
ok tell me where in the world i should go to see more black fathers in their kids lives? africa? where do i go that proves all of these statistics wrong?
Loved this vid!! Great father sons tandem. His father sold himself short and you can see why AD is so humble and grounded. Anyone who was not a fan of AD will be one before this vid is over. GO AD!!!
I’m a die hard Steelers fan but I’m a HUGE fan of Aaron Donald. He graduated from my high school Pennhills and the team this year won the WPIAL Championship and the state championship also. The perfect season. Zero losses. His work ethic is unreal. It definitely motivates me just after watching this and how highly his father and brother speak of him. Stay humble big homie. He never forgot where he came from. Going back to where it all began keeps that 🔥🔥🔥 lit and makes you appreciate it a lot more of the person you have become. Skies the limit bro.
Aaron Donald is a Beast. He is arguably the best DT the league has seen this decade. He played his heart out last night and evem in defeat, I think the entir football world has no choice but to respect this monster. AD99
You are right about the dad. Doesn't matter black or white if the father is missing from a boys life and even a girls life the children usually have issues. Very rarely can moms do both jobs. I know Bo Jackson only had a mom and he was the hardest working player in history and one of the best but they are few. It is AWESOME that he goes back home to his childhood basement to workout in the off season. True warrior!!
This is why he is one of the best players. He has that burning drive mind set to make himself the best he can be. Most people don't have that mindset because you must love to train and that comes from the heart. I know exactly what he is talking about.
As extremely hard for me to say this, playing 8 NFL seasons myself, and football being my life, I would of never thought I would see a player be so close to Lawrence Taylor to be as dominant on the defensive side of the as he is
How does anyone possibly give this video a thumbs down? He's done everything right... And has stayed out of trouble in the NFL. Not always the case these days.
This is what happens when you have a good father in the home major respect

Aaron Donald deserved to be defensive player of the year he's a beast

I see where Aaron gets his humbleness from. His father is super humble. Not taking one credit for Aaron’s success. That’s amazing.
Finally someone giving their father props.
Having a father to give props too...its a rare thing! Sad!

Literally just finished watching this on NFL countdown with tears in my eyes. Fabulous story

Nice story kids don’t forget the sacrifices parents did for them
Knocks JJ Watt back to #2 in the NFL on defense
It's good to have competition.
And there's Khalil Mack too.

Put 3 of them in your Madden team
@JBJ nah Aaron Donald is #1 by far
Edge rushers easier to neutralize

Being self motivated and working out constantly at home is way harder than going to the gym. Takes true dedication and will.
This motivates to work harder as A offensive lineman and a Dt no matter how much success I get I won't never be satisfied with it 💯
Its awesome to see a child paying tribute back to their parents.
